Always a favorite spot to visit when in DC. Located upstairs it has a cool, kinda speakeasy vibe going on. Really sophisticated yet not pretentious design. Absolutely wonderful service. Extensive and I mean extensive menu of beers, cocktails, bourbon, and whiskey. Great spot for a large group or a date night.
VIsited in October 2014. I must admit, the selection of beers is vast. However, the interior was uncomfortably cold, akin to sitting in a freezer. Additionally, the service was exceedingly slow. Despite not being the only customers, the wait times felt prolonged. For a venue with a 99% rating on Rate Beer, my expectations were higher. Nonetheless, the 55 taps are quite impressive.
