Tonight was my first time at proper 21 and it was nothing short of amazing. Our server Tia C. was charismatic, and genuine. She took great care of my friend and I. We started our night off at a different spot and didn't have a great experience there. Tia turned our day around we had some great drinks and dessert and left proper laughing. This is by far the best place in DC to eat and hang out! The birria eggrolls are TO DIE FOR!! I Live in California and I legit fantasize about them regularly. I am lucky enough to work for a company that has an office in DC so I can get my fix every now and then. Everyone is super nice, the ambiance is incredible, they play all the sports, but the food!!!!! oh boy the food!!! I can't get enough of the birria eggrolls, oh my goodness, so good!

If you are looking for a quick lunch Proper 21 is a good option. There is plenty of seating so the wait was short. They menu had a bunch of different options so something for everyone. I had the salmon burger that I would highly recommend. The burger has limited filling and great flavor. The restaurant also has TVs so a great option to sit at the bar and watch the game with friends and family.
