“My husband and I came to celebrate his birthday. The food and service is excellent. Never once did I have to ask for more water. The server was very attentive. We shared a seafood sampler for 3, very good spicy soup (can’t recall the name), and lobster pasta. Delicious!!!“
“This carryout has a nice small town feel. The restaurant is cozy, and the location is great. The menu looks really intriguing, enough to go back multiple times and try more items. The Smoked Turkey Club was a great sandwich to enjoy. However, what they call jerk chicken for their jerk chicken sandwich is anything but. It was a bit disappointing, but it won’t stop me from going back to try other menu items“
“Today was my first time going to this crafty crab restaurant.and I don’t have one complaint the food was delicious and hot.the atmosphere was amazing, the employees were very polite, friendly, fast,it was clean, I was very happy and impressed now one thing drink wasn’t strong enough but it was good I will definitely be coming back the buffalo wings and onion rings was the best ones I ever tasteKid-friendliness: They were very nice and had coloring sheets and supplies to keep my 6 year old daughter happy I like how they asked her it’s she goodWheelchair accessibility: I lost my right leg exactly a year ago today so I have a prosthetic leg and I use my wheelchair also they the restaurant made it very suitable and easy to get around“
“Service is very attentive, if not completely knowledgeable of what exactly their menu offerings are trying to achieve (it's kind of a blend of local with New Orleans, we gathered). We are not huge fans of several of the menu offerings, so of course, our ratings reflect that. Oysters, duck, and several N.O. options were just not our thing. We were mostly there for the drinks & ambiance, which were top shelf. Bottom line, go for the traditional & reimagined Louisiana fare, excellent libations and good times.“
“Situated in a buzzing food hall, this place still manages to stand out.The staff are just great; so friendlyandhelpful. They allowed me to sample everything before deciding what to have. But even then, it was so difficult because everything was delicious.“
“This was my first time visiting Kenny’s Kale and it was just okay to me. I had the UnCraba Kale with the Thee VanKale flavor. The crab meat was backfin meat not lump. It was too much kale in comparison to the amount of crab meat that was on the salad. For the cost it should have definitely been more. I was able to take a third of the kale and place it in the oven to make kale chips which came out great! As I reached near the bottom of the bowl it was a lot of oil and seasoning. Now the crab meat was full of flavor! The service was on point as soon as the young lady finished up the order on the phone, she greeted me, asked if this was my first visit and explained the menu. The space is cozy and inviting, but small. They do have a bar for you to grab a spirit while you wait for your order.I probably would not return on my own, but would definitely take the offer should someone be ordering from here and ask if I would like anything.“
“Our family had an amazing experience at Blues Alley! This place offers great food and beverages, and the atmosphere is astounding. One of few places left to listen to high quality, live jazz music. It’ll definitely gift you a memorable experience.“
“Love it when you have to put down the photo and working on the food so kind of force talk with your loved one hahahaha. Tasty food. It services spicy food but their no spicy is just as good. Service was good. It was very busy at the time but the girls walks like tornado.“
“Ordered shrimp garden rolls : they were pretty tasty. Little bit of wilted lettuce but good overall all. Fresh. A- Ordered shrimp fried rice : nothing special but good. C Ordered an everything pho (non seafood) : the soup came out Luke warm.. I was expecting a big bowl of "steamy" pho and received a bowl of disappointment... was sad.. D- Ordered the 76-86$seafood platter (forgot price) : Served on a huge tray. Again... food wasn't pipping hot as expected. Lobster was a tad bit rubbery. Shrimp were all small.. crab legs were average and both other crabs I ate were just ok.. meh. Everything was DRENCHED in garlic. I love garlic but damnnnn, I like to taste seafood too. Crawdads produce little meat. D Service was nice . A Overall sadly I will not be dining back at crabby noodles. Perhaps in a year or so I'll try again. "D" grade..“
“My daughter wants Chasin Tails every year on her birthday. It’s her thing! We were so sad to see the Centreville location closed, so we decided to try the Falls Church location. Wow! It’s so nice and clean, modern but still cozy. The food was awesome. One thing that stood out as being extra exceptional was the service. Our server Madeline (sp?) was so warm and positive. She made us feel like VIP guests, surprised my daughter with a birthday dessert (beignets, yummm!) and a hand written birthday card with a gift.I almost never leave reviews, but this one was extra important. I hope the team at Chasin Tails knows how lucky they are to have Madeline represent them. She is a gem. Thank you!!!“
“OMG!! The boil with the World Sauce is out of this world delicious! The crab and crawfish were fresh, the corn and potatoes were delicious and the sausage was incredible and super plentiful! We were honestly pleasantly surprised by how flavorful everything was! We haven't even cleared the table and I'm already writing my review. We just called the manager, Ash, to rave about the food (which we rarely do but it was THAT good) and he was SO kind and appreciative! Just go! You will be so happy you did!!! We will definitely be back, Ash!!“
“Best Snow Crabs in the city if you want that creole flavor I miss from NOLA. I figured out the flavors. Get the shabang medium which for me is perfect because I don’t like too much spice but I love the flavor of the creole spice. I always get the lemon pepper crab fries. Never leave without an order of the shabang bang shrimp medium to go for later!! Love this place!“
“My favorite place to get a seafood boil. Unlike other restaurants that pull out frozen premade bags from the freezer, their stuff is made fresh when you order. Great portions, affordable prices and flavorful and delicious food. I usually get take out so I can’t speak much about dining in but my pickup process is usually smooth, without any issues and quick.“
“Update!!Yes I went back for dinner, they didn't disappoint either. Worth every penny I spend in there...That cornbread is a MUST HAVE!!10/10!!!!!Pictures doesn't serve this place justice cause of the lighting but one of the best brunch spot I have visited in the DMV.. Highly recommended. Will be back for dinner“
“I visited Kitchen Savages on a rainy Saturday afternoon for lunch. So it was not very crowded but it's inviting. The brunch menu was still being featured, so the choices were limited. I ordered the Chicken Wings and they were pretty good. I wished for a little more bite to the tangy sauce. I also ordered the Jerk Caesar Salad with grilled salmon. The actual salad and salmon were good, but the Jerk was very lacking. The salad was good but it had no character of a Caesar Salad, nor Jerk flavor IMO. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my salad and the Chicken wings. The vibe of this little spot is nice, chill, and friendly. I will come back for dinner. The dinner menu looks interesting. Nice addition to the reviving Historic Anacostia neighborhood.“
“Came here on Easter Sunday, it was pretty busy but my family had never had a seafood boil before. With that, Ken helped us with everything. Amazing recommendations amazing service. He helped us decide on exactly what we wanted and how much we should get.10/10 service10/10 food !!“
“The Cori Midden Kitchen is a quintessential American restaurant that offers an intimate and cozy dining experience akin to a homey dining room. The exceptional customer service, coupled with food cooked from scratch, made our brunch visit with a large party quite memorable. Our waiter, Cathy, provided attentive service, ensuring our needs were met throughout the meal. We indulged in a variety of brunch items, with favorites including the catfish nuggets and cornbread, alongside lamb chops(small lamb chops), deviled eggs, and fried tomatoes. For our entrees, the shrimp omelette, French toast, chicken and waffles, and catfish and grits were all exquisite. Despite a few minor mishaps, the overall experience was delightful, and I highly recommend this establishment for its delicious food. It was a nice touch when the chef personally greeted our table, adding to the warmth of the experience. Advisable to book your reservation in advance, I look forward to returning in the future.“
“I got the hibachi shrimp and the fish po boy. Both slapped dollar for dollar this one of the best takeouts in the metro. Would’ve paid double for that in the district. The interior is on par with all the other carry outs it’s not designed for your comfort. Get your food and slide out.“
“Sat the bar on a solo sunday funday. It's on a nice street with street vendors. I came for the food and wasn't disappointed. The she crab soup was very good. I can't tell if the base was store bought but amount of sherry was spot on. I would probably say that if I wanted she crab soup, I'd go here from here on out. They had some soft shells and they were delicious. I should have asked for capers but that's just my preference. Drinks were well made. All in all, a tasty treat. I can't speak to the dinner experience though I'm tempted to try.“
