The Simon at Reston Station Reviews
Overall, the food was good, but there were a few areas that could have been better. The duck was very different from what we expected. We initially thought it would be a whole duck served with lavender, but it arrived as just two slices per person. While I appreciate the time and effort that goes into preparing the dish, I think the menu should provide a clearer description of what guests will actually receive. The flavor was also quite strong, even for someone who enjoys duck.

General Manager Kristen and server Aisha were awesome. Both were attentive, polite and professional. We enjoyed our restaurant week fixed price menu and will return soon!
Decided to spend an evening at the JW Marriott Reston, starting with drinks at Schar Bar before heading over to The Simon for dinner.
Skyler our bartender, recommended the Afterglow (minus the egg white…thanks girl), it was the perfect way to kick things off.🍸
From there, we headed to The Simon, where we were warmly greeted by Jenny the hostess, she immediately made us feel welcomed and set the tone for the evening, I compliment her shoes and she was...read full review

The Simon at Reston Station offers a delightful dining experience with fautless service and incredibly delicious food. The staff are welcoming, helpful, and provide great recommendations, ensuring space and privacy for guests. The menu, while not extensive, highlights great local produce and perfectly paired combinations.
Standout dishes include the charcuterie board, tomahawk sharing steak, and decadent chocolate cake. For entrees, the salmon is cooked perfectly, the filet is super tender and flavorful, and the tilefish is light, flakey, and delicate. The Carolina gold risotto is praised for its balsamic, perfectly cooked prawns, and autumnal flavors.
While some dishes like the bread basket are noted as small for the price, and certain earthy flavors or desserts may not appeal to everyone, the overall experience is highly enjoyable. The vibes are immaculate, and the service is top-notch, especially with young children. The Simon is a must-visit for its wonderful service and enjoyable entrees, with potential to return for the pasta with caviar.
