“Beautiful set up and ambience..“

“We were a birthday party of six and the dining event went very well. The food which was ordered included the Perch Burger, Shrimp Cappellini. and the Seafood Cobb Salad. All of the food was carefully prepared and served. The restaurant did not have butter for the entry bread because an earlier buffet event had exhausted the supply. The interior is beautifully designed with several attractive dining areas. The noise level was moderate. Our server was very attentive to our needs.“

“I finally gave in to the hype and went to try this $6 cookie.

The chocolate walnut cookie is a big boi, the form factor is half the point. The exterior has a satisfying crispy, buttery crunch that gives way to a doughy (but fully cooked) interior. Big, textured walnut pieces add a nice bite.

That said, it is quite sweet. The chocolate is overwhelming, even by cookie standards (though I understand it looks great on Instagram).

If I do try another cookie, I’ll be eating it in two sittings instead of one 🫡“

“I ordered a cake on Thursday at 1 pm to be picked up 4:30 pm on Friday for a birthday party. The man who picked up the phone was so accommodating and made sure that the customized message had the correct spelling of my name. When the cake was picked up, the lady was extremely lovely and kind. 10/10 would recommend and will be buying another birthday cake (very soon) from this bakery. I have also visited this bakery before to buy a n emergency cake and they have lots in the display case available. Perfect, delicious cakes. “This was the only place I hit up twice during my trip to DC. I got the steak and chicken esquite bowl. Portions were great, reasonably priced for the area and the ingredients. The staff were fast and awesome. Bathroom was clean. This was easy to get to for someone that only walked the city.“

“This has definitely become my new local coffee shop. It’s the kind of place you can go to every day before work starts—it has already become that for me.

The atmosphere is great; it’s a very easy place to get some work done or settle in with a book, and the outdoor seating is a huge plus. I love coming here in the morning for an iced mocha and their sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. The seasoning is excellent and the food is always fresh.

The staff is super nice and they are incredibly quick with orders. I’m already planning on heading back this Saturday with my new read.

“It is actually fully vegan!!! I’ve been vegan for almost a year and I am also Chinese, born and raised in China. I can testify that the cooking is great and the ingredients are fresh. Please order “three cup duck” as I just couldn’t get enough of it, and the basil in it is a special Chinese basil that you won’t find in a regular market in America!

P.S. the environment is so clean and peaceful. Unlike many hyped up plant-based restaurants, this place is lowkey but genuine. You get what you paid for! The service is very efficient, observative, and introvert-friendly:) you don’t need to chat/signal too much to get noticed about your needs.“

“We were hanging out in Georgetown with our guests from out of town and we were looking for a place to eat lunch. We are all vegetarians and upon seeing good rating of this small restaurant, we decided to give it a try and we are so very glad we did. It's a hidden gem with delicious and healthy food with all vegetarian choices. The food was not only fresh, perfect temperature, and tasty but they had things on their menu that you don't find at a normal mexican joint.“

“You can make an entire night here on flamenco nights. They have amazing food, and fantastic entertainment! Wait staff is attentive and professional. It is more European style service in the sense that they leave you in peace to enjoy your food, but they are always watching the table to see if you need anything at all. “We love Washington DC so my wife and I wanted some pizza. We were staying at the Embassy suites in NW so I googled pizza that was close by. Pizzoli‘s pizzeria came up. It looked good so we took an Uber there and the pizza was excellent. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza and my wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed it. Made from scratch good. We were a little bit surprised in that it was a smaller establishment as we thought we were going to a place that had lots of tables, etc. This place has one inside table and five or six countertops to eat at and then they have several tables outside but as noted, the food was fantastic. Would certainly recommended, and we will be back home future visits.“
