For the tapas, the whisky pork tenderloin with potatoes was cooked well but the sauce had an odd tang to it. It may be an acquired taste and not for everyone. The grilled eggplant was soggier than expected and I don’t think I’ll get it next time. The Serrano ham and manchego cheese appetizer on the other hand, was absolutely scrumptious! The chicken and seafood paella (the reason why we chose this restaurant) was a big let down…the dish was way too salty and I couldn’t fully enjoy it without downing water. The chicken and mussels/clams however, were tender and cooked well. The churros and chocolate dip for dessert were divine.“

“I visited the West End location with my husband while visiting DC and had a phenomenal experience. Aside from the food being absolutely to die for, the customer service is really what impressed me. At the register, we were greeted by an older black woman who was so kind to share suggestions and explain the menu to me despite being very busy. It truly made the ordering experience a breeze. My latte was delivered by a younger light skinned black male and I am not sure where he received his customer service training by but by far he’s got it down pat. After delivering my order he told me, “have a nice day, okay?” but it wasn’t just a pleasantry, it truly seemed like a genuine request. I am beyond impressed with the food, ambiance, and customer service provided!“

For Dinner, thw wife had Chicken Tikka Masala which tasted amazing and the chicken was very tender. It tasted "simple" and I do mean that in the nicest way considering I've had this dish at other restaurants and the flavors and spices are too overpowing. I had the Miz tandoori platter with a delicious lamb and chicken tikka. As good as they were, the star of the dish is the salmon. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. Many restaurants don't get salmon right and it's usually overcooked and to my delight that was not the case here. Accompanied by the basket of naan that includes regular, onion, and garlic flavors and rice were a great combination. “Stopped by with two kiddos on a weeknight and the service was impeccable. Aside from having the usual parking issues - Connecticut Ave is sometimes difficult- we had no issues finding it. It's on a row with a lot of options but we (I) wanted hummus so here we were! The service and greeting were great? Our waiter was thorough and advised of the best items on the menu as well as allowed us to take out time ordering. We tried the pita bread with olive oil which was a little bland and required salt and pepper-but the pita itself was warm perfection. We also tried the artichoke hearts, which were amazing and the dressing was so good, the kids tried to eat it with a spoon! I typically don't eat after 7 and since it was much later, I ordered a salad with tabouleh and falafel, of which I finished one. The falafel was a little dry, which didn't make for a great reheating experience but on day one it was great! The kids both ordered the kids meal with falafel which is massive and comes with hummus and rice or fries. He let my picky water get a salad instead which worked nicely. There were a ton of leftovers and we are hearty eaters. I will just say the falafel and tabouleh salad doesn't reheat very well. The tabouleh is as expected, quite wet and if I'd had space to eat it on day one, it would have been a 5/5. As such, I'd give it a solid 4.3. It wilted almost completely in 12 hours even after separating the falafel. But we would go back, the menu is expansive, the service was very good, and the ambiance is perfect for a date night at any point! The high backed booths lend and aura of privacy and the high ceilings swallow conversation in a way that allows you to relax and really talk. Definitely a good restaurant design! If you like Lebanese/Mediterranean food, you won't be disappointed!“

I just wish there was a bit more chocolate, but the croissant itself was wonderful, and I'm super glad I got to try the whole wheat. I also got a cortado, which was just ok. “Vegan reviewer here! It was my first time to Yuan Fu Vegetarian and based on the reviews I was really excited to try them out. I went on a Friday night around 8 PM. From the outside it's nothing spectacular which is a great sign of authenticity. Right when you enter there's booths and tables with the counter at the back. They were about 1/4 occupied. I decided to seat myself in a booth and was greeted right away and handed a menu and was asked what I wanted to drink. I ended up deciding on the pecking duck which was the most recommended menu item and the vegetable chow foon since that dish is one of my favorites to order at any Asian restaurant. The both dishes came out about 10 minutes later. I had never had real pecking duck but wow this was delicious. The plum sauce really complimented the dish. Definitely order this dish. The chow foon was alright. Rice noodles really soak up any sauce you put on it so I was disappointed when there wasn't much flavor. The noodles were also pretty soft and I like them to have a bit of a bite. I asked for chili oil and soy sauce to jazz it up and it did the trick. I have a big appetite but had to ask for boxes. The service and food were great overall and I definitely plan on coming back and trying other dishes. One thing I will say is I asked for an itemized receipt and they had to handwrite it since they don't have a digital system. Both dishes came out to just under $35. Can't wait to come back!“

It's one of my favorite places in the Rockville/Bethesda Area. When I'm in the mood for a salad with pizazz, this is the place I go. I get the child-size for lunch and the full size salad for dinner. The service is good, the last time I stopped by, I received a free miso soup. Thank you, for the generosity.I love their variety of teas and juices. They have table downstairs, tables upstairs and some outside. One of my favorite dessert that they offer, is the coconut milk pudding, it's so creamy and delicious. I hope they bring this back soon. Located on the outer edge of the Pike and Rose neighborhood, and close by to the garage this is a lunch favorite pick up spot for me. I can't wait until Spring when they have table outside and I'll be able to enjoy my lunch and watch the crowd go by.“
