We had great food and service on Saturday evening. The two of us enjoyed the soup special, the house salad, the salmon tartare and the Duck Roti a l'orange. All were fabulous. This is a terrific restaurant to have in the neighborhood.
Always great fun to dine at La Piquette. Strong on substance and form and without any pretense. The consulate neighborhood spot for excellent French food and wine with warm and friendly hospitality hospitality.

One of the few places in DC that feels authentically French. You can find a lot of classics here that aren't served elsewhere like rabbit and sweetbreads. They have excellent bread and a nice bar. There's also great people watching here. It's one of the places where it feels like locals have been going forever. A little on the pricey side, but a nice treat.
