“This is an update. A year ago I had a horrible experience here after coming for over a year - service was slow and the bartender just hung out and talked instead of checking on me.

Tonight however (and this might make a difference - I was seated at a table in the main area. I had a server who wasn’t a bartender (Sebastian) who was great. He was timely but not rushing, th food was great and not delayed, and the drinks were timely and well made.

“If you are on a gluten free diet, this restaurant is a real treat. This is the ONLY restaurant I know of in the entire DC area that offers gluten free French toast!!! It is really yummy. It is gluten free cinnamon raison bread that they make into French toast. It is served with maple syrup that has few slices of bananas in it. It is always served warm. (Be sure to look for the bananas. If the French toast is served with sliced strawberries, that is the wheat based French toast.) This restaurant also has gluten free bread so most of their sandwiches can be made gluten free upon request. And they can make their eggs benedict gluten free by using their gluten free toast. It is a very pleasant experience dining here. I usually dine outside. They are located on a small street in Georgetown. Georgetown can be crowded but on this small street, it is never very busy. On a nice weather day, it is a pleasant experience to eat the gluten free French toast while enjoying the weather. The service is always good too. I enthusiastically recommend this restaurant.“

“In my 50 yrs of living on this earth, and have traveled abroad and tried many different places…my experience at The Dabney has been by far the best I’ve experienced. Everyone from host to chefs made me feel like a star. The bar staff, servers, the atmosphere, and the chefs!!! Top tier and would highly recommend!!! Not only was the service excellent…talk about hospitality on a 100! But the FOOD!!! I mean I would’ve been a happy camper just on the drinks from the bar (gotta try the FORWARD drink!! Whew!) and the service alone, but the FOOD?! We were treated to a five course, and every single bite, morsel that I tasted sent every bit of my taste buds to heaven!! “I highly recommend Tabbard Inn restaurant following a wonderful experience I had recently. The old-fashioned, chic, and cozy atmosphere provided the perfect setting for what was one of the best meals I have eaten lately.

The food is truly high cuisine, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The cheese balls were a delicious entree, and the chicken dinner was exquisite. I also particularly enjoyed the cherry blossoms cocktails.

I want to specifically commend our server, Rene, for his exceptional service. He made us feel incredibly welcome and provided excellent recommendations. Although there was no kids' menu, he thoughtfully suggested a burger and chicken pasta for the children. Furthermore, he took the time to recommend local attractions and shared very helpful subway tips.

“The restaurant was very beautiful. We were seated immediately with no reservation. Our server was great and she’s explained the specials and helped us decide what menu items were good choices. The food service was higher and the cinnamon role was fresh. The Cesar wrap so filling and delicious. The Bellini’s were good too. Would visit again when I return to DC.“

“Today, after landing at DC Reagan we decided to waste time while waiting for our hotel room at the Archer Tysons to be prepared. While searching AI this restaurant came up so after reading the reviews we decided to visit.

The aesthetic of the restaurant was gorgeous, neither feminine nor masculine but definitely modern and warm. We decided to sit at the bar which was very comfortable and boasted plenty of seating. The bartender/server, Carlos , looked up and saw us and initially didn’t speak ..my husband tapped my leg which is usually an indication to leave but I said let’s give him a chance and boy were we happy we did !

Carlos was fun, courteous, prompt, and extremely knowledgeable during our visit. He gave us his recommendations on drinks, food, and also shared all the specials the company was offering.

Hubby had the Burger and fries and I had the Turkey Burger with sweet potato fries. We also had alcoholic beverages , hubby had a delicious maple old fashioned and I had the blackberry margarita. Everything was cooked to perfection and Carlos put his entire foot in those drinks 🥰!

For dessert I ordered an inflammation Wellness drink because the ingredients looked interesting and it was delicious!

We shared stories of our travels and Carlos shared his experiences in Thailand. The restaurant honored a military discount for me (retired Veteran) and our bill with a 25% tip was about $91

Overall I would say our experience was a 10/10! Restaurant and restrooms were extremely clean, food & drinks were delicious and Carlos was the cherry on top!“

The drinks and food are expensive at the Mosaic location. and there for very few people there. “The entire experience was awesome! We didn’t have reservations, as we just came from a show. They worked us in and the tapas style dining was just what we needed for an upscale, late-night meal.
