The employees were very polite and efficient. The Inn is beautiful and is located in a nice area.
The restaurant was amazing but very expensive. I've never spent $60 on breakfast before.
The room was beautiful but packed a lot. Had to move furniture to find the plug in. The hot water was a guessing game. It was war trying to get hot water and when you did, after 30 seconds it's ice cold and then goes back to warm. It wasn't a big deal but there was no TV In the room, just means we spent less time in it, again, not a big deal.

This is one of the most charming restaurants in Washington, with a decor that spells elegance and comfort, tradition and style. The service is extraordinary. Our waitress made us feel instantly welcome and important. The food is American-style, and so was not as interesting as I would have liked, or as good as I remembered. (My last visit was pre-covid.)
