“This is a convenient spot for Thai takeout. We generally like the food, but it’s VERY inconsistent. The pad Thai is ok, but sometimes incredibly sweet. I wouldn’t say that this tastes like authentic Thai food (we’ve been all over Thailand), but it’s good in a pinch. Never dined in since the dining room is a bit odd.“

“We had an early dinner before attending a performance at the Ford’s Theater. We made reservations through Open Table and were immediately seated upon arrival. The service was great. Our server recommended several dishes that we loved. There were abundant vegan and vegetarian options. Chilorio de Res tacos were mouthwatering as were the Hongos en Milto ones. In fact, every dish we ordered was delicious. One dish (chilaquiles) never arrived from the kitchen but we were pressed for time so we opted to have it taken off our bill instead of waiting for them to prepare it separately. Dessert, Cafe de Olla, was phenomenal. Pics are only some of the items we tried. Great atmosphere for date night and a milestone birthday celebration. Highly recommend.“

The staff were super friendly, especially Enrique, who came to chat with us. Although they weren’t doing seating service, the food arrived at our table very fast.“

“I'm helping to run a large conference in a venue that won't allow outside food, so I needed somewhere where all the staff/volunteers could quickly run and grab dinner, sit and eat, then run back to the venue to keep working on the conference. Little Beet was one of VERY FEW places nearby that was actually able to accommodate everyone's dietary needs (lots of vegan, gluten free, etc) and have seating/tables. Everyone was extremely complimentary about the food quality and at least a couple people mentioned how thrilled we were that a low FODMAP bowl existed - that's a dietary need that a lot of restaurants won't/can't accommodate. They were extremely accommodating about allowing me to just email in a spreadsheet of food orders, had the food conveniently bagged up for us and labelled with names, and they helped us out at the absolute last minute when we needed to add Friday lunch on top of Saturday dinner. It was really nice to all sit together at the tables/benches outside. I would recommend Little Beet!“

“No other bakery like Seylou. We travel in to the city every weekend to eat here. The staff is so kind and feels like an extension of our family. They’ve taken my child behind the scenes and shown him how grains are killed and bread is baked. I could not ask for a better community and diet staple.“

“Consistently delicious! Normally, I just go for the cookies, cronuts, and petit fours. This time we tried all things savory. We were invited to a German Christmas Market Themed party — very specific I know… Since it was a potluck, we decided to make currywurst. Heidelberg’s brats for the recipe were so good. We also grabbed their huge soft pretzel (yum) and their curry spread (double yum). Whether you go sweet or savory, you can’t go wrong. Love this bakery!“

It is more European style service in the sense that they leave you in peace to enjoy your food, but they are always watching the table to see if you need anything at all. “This is for the Silver Diner in Chantilly,VA. We live a little over 2 hours away but stopped here for dinner after car shopping and we were not disappointed! My husband and son both had milkshakes and burgers and I got the meatloaf. Classic diner menu but really elevated and creative. I have also visited this bakery before to buy a n emergency cake and they have lots in the display case available. Perfect, delicious cakes. “This has definitely become my new local coffee shop. It’s the kind of place you can go to every day before work starts—it has already become that for me.

The atmosphere is great; it’s a very easy place to get some work done or settle in with a book, and the outdoor seating is a huge plus. I love coming here in the morning for an iced mocha and their sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. The seasoning is excellent and the food is always fresh.

The staff is super nice and they are incredibly quick with orders. I’m already planning on heading back this Saturday with my new read.
