Yeah we overdid it on our order, but we enjoyed a smorgasbord of delicious Greek food that made you think it was from a top 10 upscale downtown restaurant. “This place is a neighborhood classic. They keep the prices low (by Arlington standards) and the decor is awesome "mom's kitchen throwback". May it never, never change. I don't love everything they make, but since they make about 87,000 different things, you can find something. Their emphasis is old style German baking with Christian and Jewish calendar seasonal flourishes. This is, for instance, the first place I ever had a "hot cross bun"-- like in the children's poems. (They had them for Easter). And they have a great sandwich bar where I always get egg salad. The quiches are good too. They have coffee and real German sausages that look delicious too. And a nice seating area in front of a huge window. There's always room. So basically, you could spend all day here eating, drinking coffee, reading, looking out the window, and planning your next meal. That would be a great day. (PS: parking is annoying but do-able)“

“I always rely on True Food for its delicious yet healthy food options. We just had lunch there and loved the ambiance - the combination of wood tones and greenery created a relaxing and comfortable feel. The staff member who greeted us was welcoming and friendly, and our server provided attentive and speedy service. Our food arrived within minutes of placing our order.The food was exceptional, especially the edamame dumplings appetizer. They were perfectly seasoned with soy sauce, dashi, white truffle oil, and herbs. The True Blue Grass-Fed Burger was also a great choice. The Peruvian pepper sauce added a pleasant kick to the burger, while the caramelized onions provided a sweet contrast to the blue cheese. The Korean Noodle Bowl was similar to Japchae, made with sweet potato noodles and veggies. However, it had a subtle citrusy flavor with garlic. Our drinks, Kale Aid with Greek yogurt and Bright Eyes, were both healthy and delicious. Their vibrant colors made them a feast for the eyes.I'm looking forward to revisiting True Food soon to try some of their other tasty and healthy options.“

Parking is tight, but valet is only $5. The service is ok. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Not super friendly, but polite. This place is expensive but a super cute cafe to hang out or Matt up with friends. We ordered the following: - Margarita Pizza: each slice is quite big and thick. We hot 2 slices, and just shared one. - Avocado Toast: this was delicious. It comes with egg, but we got it without egg. - The Rustic Gathering Board: this is $49 and is a massive charcuterie board. We got the vegetarian one, but they have with meat as well. Order this if you have a group to share. The coffee and chai were delicious. Overall, I loved the ambiance and cafe feel of this place. They have several pastries and breads too. Definitely give it a try. Can't wait to go back and try some of the pastries there.“

“I ordered the cake tasting box, as one does when social media decides to convince you you actually like cake and this is a GREAT idea (I don't actually like cake, ice cream cake girl to the grave).Ordering was pretty simple, although I had a random tip added on originally until I exited and re-entered my cart. Also, if you have allergies it's probably best to personally contact the bakery as none of their cake flavors had allergen warnings. Yes, some flavors it's pretty obvious but to be on the safe side I would definitely recommend contacting them. Continuing on: In the spirit of committing to the hot girl Friday bit, I went a bit overboard so here's what I got (copy/pasting from my receipt):My Passion, Strawberry Shortcake, Candy Bar Crunch, Gotta Lil Capt'n In You, Cookie Monster, Green With Envy, Pumpkin Patch, Apple Orchard, Strawberry LemonadePersonally, their cakes were great. Moist, soft even after a few days, and individually wrapped and labeled so I knew what slice was what. However, their icing/buttercream all tasted the same to me. I was not a fan of their white icing (which was easy to scrape off my precious cake) and the buttercream flavors in between only really differed in coloring to me. The best cake was Cookie Monster, and that one I did enjoy some of the chocolate ganache/filling. I also liked the pumpkin and apple cakes (although not their filling. It didn't come across as cream cheese to me and I'm not committed enough to taste test the wreckage left behind in the cling wrap.) The pieces of apple in the apple cake were soft and sweet. The lemon cake smelled nicely of lemons.The pistachio, Capt'n, and candy crunch bar were my least favorite of my cake hoard because I got them partially because I was looking forward to the filling. If I was to order again I would request no icing or choose cakes without their buttercream. Each slice of cake was a nice slice (3 layers of cake with filling between), so if you too decide to order cake for dinner a cake tasting box will definitely fill you. If you're alright with planning an evening-in with cake 48 hours in advance, their cake tasting box is not a bad way to go. (My cat also tried to steal some bites, so they are kitty approved).“

I had no experience with any caterers in that area, and had never even been to the venue at which our workshop would be taking place. Contacting Sinplicity Catering was a VERY lucky break for me.Working with Lisa Anthony made everything so easy. She was very communicative and helped me navigate through ever-changing headcounts and dietary restrictions, made suggestions based on our budget, and was an all-around superstar.When we found out at the last minute that delivery drivers needed special clearance to access the space to set up, she was able to get us all the information we needed fast enough to ensure the background checks went through seamlessly.Our delivery folks, Herberth and Andy, were prompt and set everything up quickly and quietly and never disturbed the event going on in the same room. They were really delightful guys.The food was delicious and very reasonably priced, especially given the level of service we had.
