Visiting from Birmingham, this was some of the BEST Mexican food I have ever had. It was very affordable and delicious.

Based on the reviews, Taco Rock is a quick, fun taco restaurant in Alexandria. It is not a full service restaurant; customers walk up to the counter, place an order, pay, and sit down. Carryout is available, and orders can be placed at a kiosk. The food is awesome, packed with flavor, and always fresh made to order. There is a big selection of tacos, and every single bite is a hit. The ceviche is delicious and so fresh. The Elote – Street Corn, with grilled corn, queso fresco, mayonnaise piquin, and chili ashes, has an addictive flavor. The Birria Pho was ok. The food has a deceptive amount of salt, so keep the water coming. Service is good and the bar tenders are always friendly. The atmosphere is good, with a set up with open glass for summer outdoor, though there isn't a ton of indoor seating.
