Old Town Alexandria can be a tourist trap if you don't know where to go or access to the local-"in crowd" on where to go. I myself would confess to being a zombie tourist if it were not for all the crowd-sourced reviews and convenient map search features. Really really good gelato that’s homemade and has vegan dairy free options! The vegan chocolate tasted like real chocolate ice cream! They also had gluten free cones which made the experience so much better! I got vegan pistachio which was really good too!Dietary restrictions: Dairy free

While I'm not usually a fan of ice cream, I must admit that the pistachio one at this place is truly exceptional! It has completely won me over, and now I can't resist coming back just for a scoop of that heavenly treat!
