Amazing gelato in flavors you’d expect along with some exotic, unique ones. Everything from what we tried to what we ordered was delicious! In a tiny, yet cozy space, with a patio out back. You get a lot of gelato - I got the small and I think that could be shared! It’s nice that it’s open a little later on Friday and Saturday.
I went inside to a petite shop, and I got to meet one of the owners, and she recommended a flavor, I believe called Chocolate Torta. It was a base layer of dulce de leche, mixed with Oreos, and cream cheese. This was one of the best Gelatos I have ever had. They make their Gelatos all on their own, and they are amazing!
It has a cozy, charming gelato shop feel with a focus on small batch, artisan style flavors that rotate regularly. The texture is rich and smooth, and the flavors tend to feel more natural and less overly sweet, which makes it stand out from more commercial dessert spots. It is the kind of place that works well for a quick stop while walking around Old Town Alexandria.
