Absolutely delicious food, excellent service, warm and enjoyable atmosphere, nearby parking, beautiful location by water and downtown Alexandria street shops. The two of us shared a calamari plate for appetizer, the short ribs that came with broccoli and mashed potatoes, and a flourless chocolate cake and everything was not only delicious but the portions were big enough to bring some of each plate home. Absolutely fantastic experience. There is no shortage of places to dine at in Old Town Alexandria, but this one place you can't miss. Service is quick (my food order came out in 6 minutes!) and the servers are friendly. Really neat decor in here. Like being in a warehouse..exposed wood and pipes everywhere with taps hanging from the ceiling. Amazing bourbon and whiskey list and the beer offerings are plenty. The food is great! This is a great spot for lunch and dinner. The space is huge spanning two floors and view of the waterfront for some tables. There's variety in the menu to cater for many tastes. Courteous staff and fast service. We ordered a few appetizers and salads. The only dish I didn't like was the duck poutine. It was to gamey for my taste. Otherwise, it's a great place and I'll be coming back with friends when I'm next in old town.
