First I would like to say that I wish there were more than 5 stars. My son and I are visiting the DC area for the Cherry Blossom festivities. My son has a love for Indian food ever since his trip to India. I have never tried Indian food ever. So this was my very first experience.

Overall great food. The toasted spinach dish was very delicious. Overall, all of the food was excellent.
I love biriyani and it came out absolutely gorgeous. But inside was very dry rice and very dry chicken. No flavor. I can’t believe a restaurant of this renown would serve this. I’ve had better leftovers from the local takeaway that sat in the fridge for 3 days. No stars. Very disappointed. That said, the lamb roll appetizer and the fish were very good.
