First I would like to say that I wish there were more than 5 stars. My son and I are visiting the DC area for the Cherry Blossom festivities. My son has a love for Indian food ever since his trip to India. I have never tried Indian food ever. So this was my very first experience.

Had a pleasant experience. Ordered shrimp goan curry which tasted amazing. We also ordered the chicken biriyani which i dont think was worth it.

Bring someone here if you want to impress them or be impressed. This place is contemporary Indian restaurant and possibly one of the best in this area. Sure it doesn't come cheap. A good safe bet is tasting menu which gives you a good variety spread in both veg/$80 and non-veg/$90 plus taxes and gratuity. Wine pairing is another $50.
