“Went there this past weekend and tried them for the first time!!! Was greeted soon as I walked in. A tough bag lady that was waiting for her order said I had to try the seafood Mac and cheese and she wasn’t wrong. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 The good brother running the store also let me try a few other sides. All were amazing so I had to choose but I wanted to try all of them. I got the vegan drumettes, with the vegan ribs, seafood Mac and cheese and the collard greens. All tasted AMAZING!!!! “Amazing! The sushi tasting menu was exceptional and filling! Delicious and whimsical cocktails. Bar in the back, very hip and chic workout being pretentious. Wagyu beef skewers from the bar was one of the best things I’ve ever had. All the skewers were amazing and the fried chicken and other bar snacks are classic bar foods, but way elevated- can not wait for the rest of the space to open!“

The food was fast and delicious- the sambusas were warm and spicy, and the peanut coffee was delicious! In a kind gesture, the chef sent over a sampling of sushi to our table. Fresh and refreshing, the sushi was a nice complement to my sambusas and hot beverage. I’m not on this side of town often, but now I have a reason to come back.“

I’m not a drinker, so when I asked her if there were any cocktails that didn’t taste like alcohol, I thought she would look at me like I was crazy, but she didn’t! She seemed to know exactly what I was talking about and immediately had a couple of suggestions. I went with the mixed berry lemon drop and it was perfect for me. “Easily one of my top five dining experiences, anywhere. I've eaten at some of the best Middle Eastern restaurants in NYC, Philly, and D.C., and days later I'm still thinking about my meal at Albi.

The BBQ lamb kebabs were a core memory taste moment. Honestly, they may have ruined lamb for me anywhere else.

Other standouts: the sfeeha, foraged mushroom hummus with wood-fired pita, batata harra potatoes, bbq prawns, knafeh, and the super intriguing urfa biber caramel soft serve (a must if you're into sweet and spicy desserts).

Beyond the food, the service was just as memorable. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Our server Todd was a total gem.

“We had an early dinner before attending a performance at the Ford’s Theater. We made reservations through Open Table and were immediately seated upon arrival. The service was great. Our server recommended several dishes that we loved. There were abundant vegan and vegetarian options. Chilorio de Res tacos were mouthwatering as were the Hongos en Milto ones. In fact, every dish we ordered was delicious. One dish (chilaquiles) never arrived from the kitchen but we were pressed for time so we opted to have it taken off our bill instead of waiting for them to prepare it separately. Dessert, Cafe de Olla, was phenomenal. Pics are only some of the items we tried. Great atmosphere for date night and a milestone birthday celebration. Highly recommend.“

From the moment my partner and I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, friendly, lively, upbeat, and inclusive.

We ordered the Greek Wings, The Cheeseburger, and Huevos Rancheros.

The Greek Wings were hot, crispy, meaty, and savory.

The Cheeseburger was a classic done well, topped with American cheese on a toasted sesame brioche bun and served with crispy Belgian fries.

The Huevos Rancheros featured eggs, Mexican chorizo, tortillas, refried black beans, salsa, guacamole, pico de gallo, and fresh garnishes. He said it was hearty, colorful, and packed with flavor.
