“Possibly the best food I’ve ever had in the DMV meets incredible service. They didn’t have the dessert we wanted, so they comped us the one we chose instead. Also, as someone who is sensitive to gluten, dairy, corn, and peanuts, eating out is often extremely tricky and limited, but I was able to choose from maybe 70% of their menu, which is super impressive. Great spot if you have dietary restrictions and want a lot of options.Just a note, you definitely want a reservation. “On a recent work trip to DC we were looking for pre-event fuel. Smoothies are the perfect snack to leave you feeling full but with the pep in your step you need to host an event. We all opted for the Blue Mystique which has banana, spirulina, banana, pineapple and mango. I added protein to mine and it was tropical, refreshing and delicious. They offer toasts, bowls, juices, smoothies and coffee. This seems like a great grab and go healthy option if you're in the area, and there are quite a few of these around town. Parking is a bit tricky in this area but thankfully we were a group so we hopped out of the car to order with ease.“

“Met friends here for lunch. With 6 of us, we had to be creative for seating. Indoors works for parties of 2, and outside are three tables for 4 people. Staff was super helpful making accommodations for an allergy in our group and personally delivering our food which provided confidence. I got a GF Breakfast Wrap, which was delicious and filling. Tasted the broccoli soup - love that the broccoli was whole - and sampled a muffin and energy ball. Everything was delicious. “It’s a cute, little bakery run by some lovely, wonderful people.I’m a pretty big guy who used to be overweight. My love for sugar is still very much present lol. That said, whenever I eat anything from here, I don’t feel that “guilt” or “shame” you feel when you prick up a candy bar.Everything that I’ve tried here is the perfect amount of sweet. Not too much, not too little. It will satisfy your sweet tooth without making your doctor cry at the amount of sugar you just ingested.It’s also very filling. I can easily eat 2-3 donuts from a donut shop. Meanwhile, I’ll be 3/4 of the way thru a pastry from this bakery and I’ll struggle to eat the rest. I want to eat the rest because they’re VERY delicious but it’s more than meets the eye.Also extremely well priced. The average for a single pastry or slice of cake seems to be right below $4 I think. Might be slightly off but the point is I didn’t feel like I was spending a lot. Again, for something that will fill a grown man up without being half your daily amount of calories in a single serving like some of these other sweets, this place is near impossible to beat.I love this place“

“Mumu is the greatest! The food is fresh and delicious and always has a special touch - like the deliciously seasoned potatoes on the side of the sandwiches. Also, the owner Jermaine is a great guy and always goes the extra mile. My favorite is the avocado caprese. You may think you’ve had a lot of avocado toast, but you’ve never had one as fresh and delicious as this one. Get over to Mumu on Langston Blvd underneath Moms - parking is easy, too!“

“This was my second Açaí Bowl experience, and my favorite! Look at that picture, the fruit is fresh and piled high! The granola was so good too! I should have drizzled some honey on the top or gotten some of the chocolate pieces. That would have set it off. But it was awesome as it comes. I am a sweet girlie, and the Açaí mixed with pineapple was perfect! The service was great, quick, easy, and friendly. The establishment was clean, I even had to use the restroom and that was clean too. I enjoyed sitting there to eat too, they have big windows to look out of which was nice.“

“Whenever my significant other and I want to get acai bowls, we always find ourselves coming to this business. The first time I went here, I didn't know what to expect. I knew acai was good for you but I wasn't sure if it would taste good. I was pleasantly surprised. I have not had a bowl that I did not like. Even more so, I did not find out until recently that they had a skin care line. I absolutely adore skincare products so the fact they had specific items to help with skincare from the inside out got me ecstatic. The location is a small permanent stand in the union market area. There are a multitude of other businesses in the complex. It does tend to get a little crowded in the area during busy hours. If you are not a fan of crowds, I would highly suggest going during slow times and days because it can be very overwhelming. There is a decent amount of parking but because there are some many people that frequent the area, I personally do not feel there are enough spots. I know there is an underground parking garage but you will have to pay for that. That being said, I absolutely love everything about the food and the vibes and will find myself coming here for quite some time.“

“My friend and I happened upon this place yesterday. Chris (the owner) was there and answered all of our questions patiently and thoroughly. There were so many delicious-sounding options that it took us a while to order. However, we couldn't have been happier with our selections. I chose the Blue Moon bowl, and my friend chose the Tropical Acai bowl. Let me tell you, these bowls were substantial! I was very full when I finished, and enjoyed every bite. The fruit was fresh, the mix that it topped was perfect, and the presentation was top notch. I felt that the price was worth every penny. The atmosphere of the place was awesome as well. There was a throwback playlist from the late 90s going, and it took us back to our college days. Overall, the whole experience exceeded expectations. I actually didn't have any expectations, but if I had some, they would have been exceeded! I took my mom and sister there today and we got smoothies and Jamaican patties. Loved it all! This spot will definitely be in the regular rotation. Highly recommend. Five stars on everything. Luckily it’s across the street from my apartment building.Parking: There is a garage parking option a block away that is free for 3 hours, otherwise there's paid street parking available. Difficult to find street parking during busy times of the day. Easy in the mornings.Wheelchair accessibility: Street to restaurant access is easily accessible by wheelchairs with no steps involved. Front door is double wide; however, need to open manually. Staff will happily help open the doors.“

I had been greeted with a friendly smile and great smell of breakfast food being made, but sadly I just needed a caffeine pick me up and also something to keep me warm on this windy day. I got the spiced chai latte with caramel syrup and oat milk and honestly Starbucks you can eat your heart out ! This place knows how to make a good cup of chai. “We were staying next door to the Flavor Garden and came in for breakfast on our first day in DC, the service was good, the good was so good. I keep thinking about the scrambled eggs! They tasted freshly scrambled and made out of real eggs, and seriously the best eggs I have had in my life! The french toast and bacon were also good but not as good as those eggs! We returned that evening for dinner and my husband and I both had the burgers. They were the best ever! Great flavor and texture and so savory. I also had one of the best margaritas I have ever had and all in all really good filling meals! I wish we got a chance to go again before we left DC. Believe me when I tell you go check them out!“

“Really liked Ruben's Taco Tuesday deal!!! I came in looking for a different restaurant but found this one appealing as a tiny side restaurant in the popular DuPont Circle Area. The taco Tuesday deal is 1.99 per taco on Tuesdays! I thought it was a good deal for what it was. I really liked the chorizo taco out of all three (steak and chicken being the other ones). I would probably come back just for that taco in the future.On top of that, I really loved the hot sauce they had. It was really good and added a really nice kick to the taco.I wouldn't get the horchata again though. While it wasn't bad, it doubled the cost of my order haha !!“

“I tried their (smoothie) sky shake and it was probably the best bubble tea flavor I’ve ever had. I was curious about the flavor since blue isn’t a common color for drinks and they described it as “blue matcha with coconut.” I personally don’t enjoy the flavor of coconut but this didn’t have a coconut flavor to it. It was subtly sweet and creamy. The tapioca pearls were not as dense as I would have liked them to be but that may just be my preference. The price was about $10 for a cup so it was a bit steep but it could be due to the location. Overall, I would suggest giving the sky shake a shot!“

I ordered a classic - dirty brown sugar milk tea with boba. The boba was excellent! Not super chewy, but not hard either. Went down easily and tasted great. The brown sugar milk tea tasted like brown sugar, not much to speak on there. Will be here whenever I'm in Rosslyn and have a hankering for bubble tea.“
