“When I first moved to Capitol Heights, I assumed that I would have to travel far for vegetarian/vegan food or make it myself. And how surprised was I that there was a vegan restaurant down the road! Each day the menu changes, so you could have a favorite every day of the week. And the portions! You can make SEVERAL meals out of one dinner. Is it cheap? NOPE! But something that's good for your body AND soul shouldn't be.“

“So, I'm typically not a food person here but their Acai bowls and their Mixed Berry Bowl i definitely love.

The fruit is fresh, the berries are not bitter and I like that when you ask for Granola and honey, they tend to do a generous amount of it.

My favorite is the mixed berry bowl but sub the strawberries for mangos. I definitely enjoy my bowls better with mangos over strawberries. Just a personal preference but overall customer service was good, the wait time isn't that long and the staff is helpful when subbing items out.

The location is great and there is plenty of parking here.“

“I recently got to visit the Pure Green Dupont location, FINALLY! As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Krystal (one of the owners) and the vibe was extremely welcoming. Not only was the vibe a breath of fresh air (given the current energy in the city), but it was extremely clean. I could definitely see myself just pulling up to get work done, have a quick meeting, visit after a workout or yoga class. I ordered the Pink Dragon w/ Coconut Creme Swirl (please make sure you add that for an extra razzle dazzle) & it was amazing!! Pictures do not do it justice. Honey, you gotta try it for yaself! I forgot I got the Grape Hydr8 pressed juice before I left. I drank it so fast before I was able to take a picture. I usually stay away from grapes because they are so naturally sweet, but this drink was extremely refreshing after running around all day (I am a fan now, I can admit)... Overall, my experience 10/10, atmosphere 10/10, service 10/10, food/drink 10/10! I will absolutely return and I highly recommend this location to any & EVERYONE!“

“OMG! My favorite place for juice, smoothies, avocado toast and acai bowls now has SOUP! Just had their potato squash soup, and it was better than my homemade soup (which is also delicious). Will be visiting often this winter for soup, cappuccino and "stay away cold and flu" juices. Sooo happy to have healthy options close-by!“

“The language barrier wasn’t at all a contribution to the service rating. It was the fact that I didn’t have an issue repeating myself for them to understand and my request was slightly pushed to the side. I asked for extra honey on my açaí bowl multiple times and I made it apparent that it was something I specially enjoy about my bowls so please add extra. The bowl came back, I checked it and it did not have extra honey. Just a drizzle over the top, as it would normally. I had to request more honey which is fine but it’s the principal in paying attention to your customers . Food pretty alright tho“

“I came to try this bakery after seeing it promoted on Instagram as an authentic Asian-style bakery. I miss the Japanese bakeries I would frequent often when living in Japan a few years ago, and this one definitely brought back those memories. The interior is cute and on display were a variety of Asian-style baked goods and some minimal seating. I got the ube twist and melon pan. The ube twist was really delicious — I’d highly recommend it. The melon pan was disappointing; I expect a crunchy cookie crust on melon pan and this one was sticky and soft. The bread itself was super plush and soft and amazing, so it would be great if they could improve upon it with a crunchier cookie crust. The bread items were $3-4 each, so not the cheapest, but I was happy to support a local Asian bakery.“

They did forget one of our food items so I had to ask, but they solved it right away and the worker in charge of calling food helped us find a spot to sit. That being said, the atmosphere is kind of hectic, it was SUPER busy, which this place is popular so it makes sense. Seating is super limited and it seems like they have more people going for food than to sip on a coffee and work so there were a handful of people sitting with laptops at huge tables working while tons of people ordering food didn't have a place. Feels like they need to just kind of lean into what they want to be and have a order first system then get seating. Other than that, inside is a vibe and very aesthetic!“

From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with genuine smiles and a welcoming attitude. They were super helpful, answering all my questions about the different smoothies and making great recommendations based on what I was looking for.
I ended up going with the Island Impact smoothie, and it was blended to absolute perfection—fresh, flavorful, and refreshing. What made the experience even better was how fast and efficiently everything was handled. Even though there were a few customers ahead of me, my order was ready in no time.

“Stopped in for a quick and lite lunch around 1 p.m. and had next to no wait. I ordered the Fig & Prosciutto toast as well as the Tropi-Kale smoothie. The smoothie was excellent, and the large size is a great value over the medium - $9.99 for a smoothie, but that is in line with Tropical Smoothie and other places that offer similar products. The toast was fairly disappointing though, for $9.49 the piece of toast was much smaller than anticipated. I believe it was sourdough but the size of the toast was maybe 1/3 smaller than anticipated and for the price I would have opted for another menu item. As far as taste goes, the prosciutto was decent but the fig jam was disappointing. I will be back for the smoothie but I will avoid toast items in the future.“

“Not bad ..they work on there pace ..but keep working safely ..receiving upto 1100am ..exit 25B from 495 take 1 south and around 5-6 miles turn left at 38th st and they are on left ..one dock only ..when enter make turn and stay on dock side ..2-3 trucks can fit there ..“

“Food was pretty good, service was good and very hospital, I only got a burrito with a soda but I liked it, the burrito had a small plate for some reason, the chips and salsa they had were good but the salsa was pretty much watery, would go again pretty just be careful with where you sit they have this elevation so if your on the edge it’s easy to forget your elevated“

If I had one complaint it would be that the smoothie blenders don’t have the drop down plastic covers. This makes blending very loud and I’m positive that staff should have hearing protection at that noise level. Other than that A plus location“

Limited seating in winter but enough and looks like a fun patio for warmer weather. It's in a a neighborhood and good for people watching and just being a part of daily routine of DC.“

It taste OK, but it’s more of a açai flavored soft serve not a pure açai. The gut friendly refresher was good, although pretty dang expensive.“
