“So, I'm typically not a food person here but their Acai bowls and their Mixed Berry Bowl i definitely love.

The fruit is fresh, the berries are not bitter and I like that when you ask for Granola and honey, they tend to do a generous amount of it.

My favorite is the mixed berry bowl but sub the strawberries for mangos. I definitely enjoy my bowls better with mangos over strawberries. Just a personal preference but overall customer service was good, the wait time isn't that long and the staff is helpful when subbing items out.

The location is great and there is plenty of parking here.“

If you stop by, ask for the Napi Juice (a.k.a. the Sick Kid Juice). It’s my go-to every single time! It’s made with telba (flaxseed) and beso (roasted barley flour), giving it a unique Ethiopian twist that’s both delicious and packed with nutrition.

My favorite part of every visit is seeing her. She already knows exactly what I want and has it ready in seconds. She’s like a mother to me, and her kindness and care keep me coming back.

“This was my first time at this specific South Block location. I discovered it’s inside GW’s Lerner Health and Wellness Center. I ordered ahead via the app, and my Loaded PBJ Acai Bowl was ready when I arrived. The guy working behind the counter was super friendly and made the experience even better. The price was the same as other South Block locations, which I appreciated. While I’m not usually in this part of town, I would definitely stop by again next time I am! Highly recommend their açaí bowls.“

“We came for a weekday brunch. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and a spinach omelet. The delicious sandwich was on a beautiful grilled bagel, and the egg portion was generous as was the cheese. The omelet was stuffed full of saites spinach, mushrooms, sausage and cheese. It was served with homemade potatoes and toast. We finished the meal with a generous fruit cup that was also delicious. The only thing that would have made it better was eating on a real plate and not paper. However, the food is totally worth making this a regular stop!“

“My partner and I went to the Navy Yard location in Washington, DC a little over a week ago. on Saturday, August 1st. While the atmosphere and food was great, the service provided by the cashier didn't meet our expectations. We were anticipating a cordial greeting, a minimum level of rapport, and assistance with the menu in terms of making our choices. We were instead met with a stony glare, curt responses, creating an overall chilled interaction. All that being said, the items we selected came out good. We will be returning as the location is convenient. And we do expect improved service.“

“Today I had a great experience at this location on University Blvd. I have been to many Tropical Smoothies, but this was the fastest, nicest, most welcoming one I've ever experienced. I walked in to place my order, the cashier greeted me, there were around 12 other customers there, so I was expecting to wait a bit as I usually have to. When I tell you, not only did they make the other customers smoothies shortly after I sat down, my order was right behind theirs. I only waited maybe 3min, if that long.

I was impressed!! Great job guys. And my smoothie tasted consistently great.

The only reason I gave atmosphere a 4 is because the music wasn't on. It was a little awkward hearing everyone's conversation.“

“Since this store opened at the end of my street, I go here almost every single day and the staff is exceptional. I tell everyone I can about this location! One thing that would make the experience even better ( and this is more a critique on the company rather than the team here at this store) would be a way to “contact us” or something similar in the event that the order is made incorrectly or an item (like a cookie) is missing from the bag. If I spend $35-$40 on smoothies I expect that all items are going to be delivered and that my smoothie is made correctly, and there have been a few times where I’ve had issues and no way to provide the feedback. That being said this store is still absolutely incredible. Every other store in the area needs to take notes from this team!“

“Stopped in for a quick and lite lunch around 1 p.m. and had next to no wait. I ordered the Fig & Prosciutto toast as well as the Tropi-Kale smoothie. The smoothie was excellent, and the large size is a great value over the medium - $9.99 for a smoothie, but that is in line with Tropical Smoothie and other places that offer similar products. The toast was fairly disappointing though, for $9.49 the piece of toast was much smaller than anticipated. I believe it was sourdough but the size of the toast was maybe 1/3 smaller than anticipated and for the price I would have opted for another menu item. As far as taste goes, the prosciutto was decent but the fig jam was disappointing. I will be back for the smoothie but I will avoid toast items in the future.“
