“The language barrier wasn’t at all a contribution to the service rating. It was the fact that I didn’t have an issue repeating myself for them to understand and my request was slightly pushed to the side. I asked for extra honey on my açaí bowl multiple times and I made it apparent that it was something I specially enjoy about my bowls so please add extra. The bowl came back, I checked it and it did not have extra honey. Just a drizzle over the top, as it would normally. I had to request more honey which is fine but it’s the principal in paying attention to your customers . Food pretty alright tho“

They did forget one of our food items so I had to ask, but they solved it right away and the worker in charge of calling food helped us find a spot to sit. That being said, the atmosphere is kind of hectic, it was SUPER busy, which this place is popular so it makes sense. Seating is super limited and it seems like they have more people going for food than to sip on a coffee and work so there were a handful of people sitting with laptops at huge tables working while tons of people ordering food didn't have a place. Feels like they need to just kind of lean into what they want to be and have a order first system then get seating. Other than that, inside is a vibe and very aesthetic!“

Limited seating in winter but enough and looks like a fun patio for warmer weather. It's in a a neighborhood and good for people watching and just being a part of daily routine of DC.“

“Stopped in for a quick and lite lunch around 1 p.m. and had next to no wait. I ordered the Fig & Prosciutto toast as well as the Tropi-Kale smoothie. The smoothie was excellent, and the large size is a great value over the medium - $9.99 for a smoothie, but that is in line with Tropical Smoothie and other places that offer similar products. The toast was fairly disappointing though, for $9.49 the piece of toast was much smaller than anticipated. I believe it was sourdough but the size of the toast was maybe 1/3 smaller than anticipated and for the price I would have opted for another menu item. As far as taste goes, the prosciutto was decent but the fig jam was disappointing. I will be back for the smoothie but I will avoid toast items in the future.“

The smoothie was super delicious. I waited a little while because it was busy, but it was totally worth it. I'll be coming more often. Each day the menu changes, so you could have a favorite every day of the week. And the portions! You can make SEVERAL meals out of one dinner. Is it cheap? NOPE! But something that's good for your body AND soul shouldn't be.“

Employees are a quiet group, so if you’re expecting to be greeted or/and farewell then good luck bc you won’t get it lol otherwise I’m happy with my smoothie and breakfast wrap. “I purchased and tried all of the juices except for G-Wam because it's seasonal. My favorites in order were Tootie Fruity, Buff Me Baby, C-Plus and lastly Beet It. They all had their own unique taste as I used them for a 7 day juice cleanse. I will be back to purchase more!!“

“This place is so fun if you love a variety of Asian foods, and this evening I happened to walk in on a fantastic live jazz band playing by the bar. Last time, we had Korean tacos and tempura, this time I’m having croffles, miso soup, and spaghetti. (I know it’s weird but it’s all so delicious)“

“I also ordered a basic pearl milk tea at 70% sugar. The milk tea itself tasted good great even, but the sweetness was a little off. The sugar or syrup they used tasted more like a sugar substitute, almost like the sweetness you get from chewing gum. Not bad, just not the typical milk tea sweetness I expected.

Overall, decent milk tea with a slightly unusual sweetener taste. I’d try other flavors before deciding if I wanted write this place off for milk tea.“
