If you stop by, ask for the Napi Juice (a.k.a. the Sick Kid Juice). It’s my go-to every single time! It’s made with telba (flaxseed) and beso (roasted barley flour), giving it a unique Ethiopian twist that’s both delicious and packed with nutrition.

My favorite part of every visit is seeing her. She already knows exactly what I want and has it ready in seconds. She’s like a mother to me, and her kindness and care keep me coming back.

Vivian( the manger on duty) grey shirt caught an attitude. So I ask for a refund. I love this location and iverson mall. But having someone like that representing the store is not good. “We came for a weekday brunch. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and a spinach omelet. The delicious sandwich was on a beautiful grilled bagel, and the egg portion was generous as was the cheese. The omelet was stuffed full of saites spinach, mushrooms, sausage and cheese. It was served with homemade potatoes and toast. We finished the meal with a generous fruit cup that was also delicious. The only thing that would have made it better was eating on a real plate and not paper. However, the food is totally worth making this a regular stop!“

“Stopped in for a quick and lite lunch around 1 p.m. and had next to no wait. I ordered the Fig & Prosciutto toast as well as the Tropi-Kale smoothie. The smoothie was excellent, and the large size is a great value over the medium - $9.99 for a smoothie, but that is in line with Tropical Smoothie and other places that offer similar products. The toast was fairly disappointing though, for $9.49 the piece of toast was much smaller than anticipated. I believe it was sourdough but the size of the toast was maybe 1/3 smaller than anticipated and for the price I would have opted for another menu item. As far as taste goes, the prosciutto was decent but the fig jam was disappointing. I will be back for the smoothie but I will avoid toast items in the future.“

One thing that would make the experience even better ( and this is more a critique on the company rather than the team here at this store) would be a way to “contact us” or something similar in the event that the order is made incorrectly or an item (like a cookie) is missing from the bag. If I spend $35-$40 on smoothies I expect that all items are going to be delivered and that my smoothie is made correctly, and there have been a few times where I’ve had issues and no way to provide the feedback. That being said this store is still absolutely incredible. Every other store in the area needs to take notes from this team!“

“I haven't been in a minute. However, from the locations that I did visit- New York Ave NE and N Veitch St, the staff, service and food is worth return trips! The Cauliflower Steak is my favorite but I am also a fan of the Greek Potato Salad. I have tried the Confetti Bowl and there is another bowl similar to the Confetti Bowl that I am not recalling at the moment. Y'all need a location in (around) the Navy Yard-Ballpark area!“

Talking about Khepra’s Raw Food or now known as @hempburgercafe. Was blessed to see the owner himself (Khepra) and he served me for the first time since he was in Takoma Park (that’s for you real OG’s of #rawfood). I was just coming off my #wintersolstice fast so I asked him what he suggested I eat, thus he suggested the lasagna (comprised of zucchini noodles, cashew cheese, almond hempburger, sundried tomato sauce w/ basil and olive toppings) creamy kale & creamy collards. Can’t forget the fresh green juice (arugula, cucumber, pear & lime)! Always enjoy his food as I feel energized eating it. Only thing with his food is that if you gonna be around people, you might wanna not be too close because he always have red onions in everything!😜“

“My partner and I went to the Navy Yard location in Washington, DC a little over a week ago. on Saturday, August 1st. While the atmosphere and food was great, the service provided by the cashier didn't meet our expectations. We were anticipating a cordial greeting, a minimum level of rapport, and assistance with the menu in terms of making our choices. We were instead met with a stony glare, curt responses, creating an overall chilled interaction. All that being said, the items we selected came out good. We will be returning as the location is convenient. And we do expect improved service.“
