“Pleasant and proficient staff“

“This past Thursday (4/25), I went to the restaurant to use my birthday rewards to purchase a meal. Unfortunately, the link to retrieve my reward was not working. However, the cashier was nice enough to notify the manager and the manager gave me a discount after I showed him my email with the rewards information. This showed that the cashier and manager went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer services. And the meal, as always, was great!!!!“

“This was my and my fiancé's first time dining at this restaurant a few nights ago. We made a table reservation via OpenTable for 7:00pm, arrived at 6:50pm, and we were seated right away. From previous reviews I heard I was a good idea to make reservations, so that seems to be accurate from our experience because it was definitely a full house. The food is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it because it was delicious. I enjoyed my appetizer of Fiesta Egg rolls which were definitely cheesy, hot, and full of shredded chicken and lots of flavor. For entrees I got the Prime Rib (medium) which was cooked perfectly with some redskin mashed potatoes 😋 my fiancé got the Eastern Shore style crab cakes which were broiled and very tasty; came with coleslaw and show string french fries. My fiancé enjoyed all of his meal, with the exception of the coleslaw which he did not partake in due to health reasons. I also tried to Elite Margarita which was pretty good but a tad strong on the tequila for my liking, but the lime slice helped to take down some of the bitter alcohol taste for me 🙂👍🏾 The atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxing, classy, and dimly lit which we loved because it had a romantic vibe to it. Our server, Olivia, was very friendly and welcoming and was on point making sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely be returning again to this location.“

“It's authentic Jamaican jerk. I had the large jerk chicken platter with rice & peas, cabbage and plantains and it was excellent. It was a giant portion and I was only able eating about half of it. I will definitely be back!“

The BBQ lamb kebabs were a core memory taste moment. Honestly, they may have ruined lamb for me anywhere else.

Other standouts: the sfeeha, foraged mushroom hummus with wood-fired pita, batata harra potatoes, bbq prawns, knafeh, and the super intriguing urfa biber caramel soft serve (a must if you're into sweet and spicy desserts).

Beyond the food, the service was just as memorable. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Our server Todd was a total gem.

“During our trip to Washington, D.C., we had a lovely meal at Jab We Met. The proprietor was so kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home the moment we walked in. The food was excellent, with delicious Aloo Gobi and comforting Saag Paneer that hit just the right spot. The mango lassi was delightfully smooth and sweet, and the iced tea was light and refreshing. “This place was recommended and I am so glad we tried it. Healthy food. So many options. I ordered the Jerk Mango Salad. I didn’t change a thing and wouldn’t. Perfect kick without being too spicy. Mango salsa was the best I’ve had. We also ordered the BBQ bowl. I wouldn’t change a thing in it. Try the Red Rice. It’s really good. Despite that, the staff welcomed us warmly and still decided to serve us without hesitation. They made everything fresh, and the service was excellent from start to finish. ​Steak Frites: Cooked just right, tender, and the herbaceous chimichurri sauce added great flavor. The fries were hot, golden, and crispy.
​Chicken Pasta: Rich, creamy sauce balanced nicely by the capers and fresh lemon squeeze, with generous portions of chicken.
​Caesar Salad: Crisp romaine, plenty of parmesan, and crunchy croutons—classic and refreshing.
​Ted's Tart: The nostalgic rainbow sprinkles with whipped cream made for a fun, sweet finish to the meal.
​The real frustration came with the check. Between the added service fee/surcharge and the prompt for standard tipping on top of that, the final bill felt disproportionately high for casual neighborhood dining. Hidden fees stacking up on top of regular menu prices takes away from what would have otherwise been an easy 4- or 5-star meal.

“If you are looking for tasty Pho and vietnamese food, give this place a try.

I was looking for a Pho place nearby. I have never been to this location and thought I would give it a try. I am super glad I did. Service was very pleasant, friendly and prompt. The owners were super sweet and visited each table.

The prices here are super fair for what I ordered..I ordered a small #1 soup, summer roll, and a thai tea. The thai tea ia easily the best I've had and I have had plenty. The summer roll was fresh and came with two and peanut sauce. The small pho is huge! I was incredibly impressed with the portion of meat in the soup, esp for a small size. The broth was really flavorful and i enjoyed it thoroughly.
