“This was my and my fiancé's first time dining at this restaurant a few nights ago. We made a table reservation via OpenTable for 7:00pm, arrived at 6:50pm, and we were seated right away. From previous reviews I heard I was a good idea to make reservations, so that seems to be accurate from our experience because it was definitely a full house. The food is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it because it was delicious. I enjoyed my appetizer of Fiesta Egg rolls which were definitely cheesy, hot, and full of shredded chicken and lots of flavor. For entrees I got the Prime Rib (medium) which was cooked perfectly with some redskin mashed potatoes 😋 my fiancé got the Eastern Shore style crab cakes which were broiled and very tasty; came with coleslaw and show string french fries. My fiancé enjoyed all of his meal, with the exception of the coleslaw which he did not partake in due to health reasons. I also tried to Elite Margarita which was pretty good but a tad strong on the tequila for my liking, but the lime slice helped to take down some of the bitter alcohol taste for me 🙂👍🏾 The atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxing, classy, and dimly lit which we loved because it had a romantic vibe to it. Our server, Olivia, was very friendly and welcoming and was on point making sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely be returning again to this location.“

“First time at this specific location and when I say the food WAS BOMB!!! I will only come to this location for now on! I got the fish platter with a half and half and everything was delicious. Our food was so good, the customers behind us asked what was that delicious smell (the fried whitening) and they ended up ordering the same thing!

“I took my dad here for his birthday, and he had the most incredible experience, thanks to Brittany. She was so kind and patient with our orders, despite us getting an offensive amount of endless shrimp orders. Truly, we were intolerable, but she tolerated us nonetheless. “We used Sonoma's private mezzanine floor for an event for 30 people, and it was a great success. Hilary from the events team was very helpful in figuring out a setup / configuration that would work well for our team, and the menu prepared was exceptional with regards to taste, quality, and variety.

A huge factor for also choosing Sonoma is the proximity to Capitol Hill and many administrative buildings within DC. This was an easy walk for a members, and although it's right off a main street and busy thoroughfare, it was still quiet in the restaurant.
