“I initially called to ask what options of protein the store has and I was told whatever you like we offer! I really appreciated how kind the woman on the phone was and as I walked in she was very pleasant. I also noticed the menu offered a variety of other dishes I did not know the store prepared since the online menu did not provide but easily convinced me to want to come back immediately. I ordered the cassava leaf stew with fish and white rice. I also ordered two Jamaican beef patties. I ordered two cassava leaf stews because I kept reading reviews of how small the servings were. Being pregnant and having this craving made me say why not just order two in case! Lo and behold when I received my food it was a very good size portion as well as the amount of protein given with this dish! I was extremely pleased with not only the taste but the quantity of serving at the listed price is very appropriate. My overall experience 10 out of 10 will be trying again and again!!! I’m so satisfied and now know to go and try things yourself instead of reading reviews. You never know. Proof of the quality down below. Food is absolutely delicious approved by a pregnant craving woman!!!“

Very wide selection of alcohol.Plenty of parking and had a drive thru for convenience. They have 2 food trucks on the property as well.“

They blew my mind; specially the mushroom soup. It was amazing! I also like that the Persian bowl was a feature by an Iranian chef recently arrived to the country. The ambience and service were outstanding as well. And I loved that I could, for once, speak Spanish without feeling intimidated.“

“I recently visited Marcus DC with one of my close friends and honestly could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was incredible and the service matched it perfectly.
We decided to go the small plates route and I'm glad we did. We started off with the oysters. The oysters paired the prickly pear piri piri and habanero sauce were absolutely delicious... bold, unique flavors that I was not expecting but loved every bite of. We also had the snapper crudo which was so well balanced and flavorful without being overdone. Just really well executed.
Now let me talk about the adobo cauliflower because it may genuinely be the best seasoned cauliflower I have ever had in my entire life. I would go back to this restaurant just for that dish alone!! Lastly, the crispy potato was also a great addition and rounded out the meal perfectly.
Everything about this visit was top tier. The food, the atmosphere, and especially the service. If you have not been to Marcus at the Morrow Hotel yet, you are truly missing out.“

She is great with kids. The last time my daughter and I were there she had another table with a couple that had a baby. She took care of them seamlessly while juggling everyone else.“

I really enjoyed all the courses. The beef was so tender and flavorful. I thoroughly enjoyed the dessert as well. The only downside was that we had been walking all day through the city and my phone had died. I was hoping they might be able to let me charge my phone briefly so we could get home but they were unable to do allow that.“

“Matchbox used to be one of my favorite restaurant chains. Now that it's owned by some big corporate company, it sucks. The drinks and food are expensive at the Mosaic location. and there for very few people there. It used to have such a great vibe; it was always full of people at the tables and the bar. please bring back the original owners!“

“My son and I visited the Washington DC HRC last week. I just want to say that Angela and Christian reminded me of why I started going to HRC in the first place. They were great and we had a great time. For reasons I don't understand, the service at HRCs has been in decline for the past decade or so. But Angela and Christian were just like the HRC employees I would interact with pre-2012 or so. They made us feel like people instead of a check. And if anyone from HRC corporate actually bothers to read this...you should ask Angela and Christian in Washington DC how HRC should train its employees and interact with its customers. So, to Angela and Christian...thank you again.

“My favorite place to have martinis. They have such an amazing gin selection, and allow you to customize the amount of vermouth (traditional, dry, perfect, pure) and if it has juice or with twist. The service and atmosphere are phenomenal. No complaints. Excellent timing, lighting and noise levels. The food is also very tasty, though more on the expensive end for the options provided. It's definitely priced for the Wharf.“

“This was my and my fiancé's first time dining at this restaurant a few nights ago. We made a table reservation via OpenTable for 7:00pm, arrived at 6:50pm, and we were seated right away. From previous reviews I heard I was a good idea to make reservations, so that seems to be accurate from our experience because it was definitely a full house. The food is a bit pricey, but definitely worth it because it was delicious. I enjoyed my appetizer of Fiesta Egg rolls which were definitely cheesy, hot, and full of shredded chicken and lots of flavor. For entrees I got the Prime Rib (medium) which was cooked perfectly with some redskin mashed potatoes 😋 my fiancé got the Eastern Shore style crab cakes which were broiled and very tasty; came with coleslaw and show string french fries. My fiancé enjoyed all of his meal, with the exception of the coleslaw which he did not partake in due to health reasons. I also tried to Elite Margarita which was pretty good but a tad strong on the tequila for my liking, but the lime slice helped to take down some of the bitter alcohol taste for me 🙂👍🏾 The atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxing, classy, and dimly lit which we loved because it had a romantic vibe to it. Our server, Olivia, was very friendly and welcoming and was on point making sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely be returning again to this location.“
