Sidamo Coffee and Tea Reviews
Great place. Wish they would open a 2nd place at Liberty Exchange in Sykesville - 2 units still open for a nice coffee place (that isn’t Starbucks!) one is right next to Basta Pasta!!
I can't even begin to describe how wonderful of a cafe this is! The staff are always so kind even when they're packed, and while being a phenomenal coffee roaster and shop they nail their food as well!
Great coffee and nice selection of pastries and breakfast.

Sidamo Coffee and Tea is a cozy coffee shop located along H Street, known for its inviting atmosphere and rustic decor. The shop features a knowledgeable roaster who prepares coffee right in front of customers, ensuring a fresh and flavorful experience. Visitors appreciate the wide selection of coffees, including the popular Harer and Sidoma, though opinions on the latter vary, with some finding it burned. The morning chai is highly praised, alongside delicious vegan breakfast options. The tea selection is also impressive, making it a great spot for tea lovers. Prices are affordable, and while the shop can get lively and crowded on weekends, it remains a good place for studying during quieter weekdays. However, the space can feel cramped, which may pose challenges for those with mobility aids. Overall, Sidamo Coffee and Tea is celebrated for its local charm, tasty pastries, and a delightful blend of traditional Ethiopian and modern brewing styles, making it a beloved choice in DC.
