“I went to this location for the first time the other day and everything was good! From the music to the service to the food. There were two young people serving us that did an excellent job! If you go there, look for Analyse and Shamar. They were super professional, patient, and quick! We had no clue what we wanted to eat, but they helped us figure it out lol. I have to show some love because people these days don’t care anymore about good service. Especially young people. When I was younger, good service was important. These were two young people that took such good care of us, and the food was delicious! A+“

“My sister and I were lucky enough to snag a table to this place and I was blown away! We did the tasting menu with the wine pairing and the entire experience was immaculate !! The sommelier was knowledgeable, helpful and generous. The food was divine! I will say, I don’t eat lamb, goat or octopus/calamari and their menu can be lamb heavy. I still give this place a 5/5 because they made adjustments to the courses that were made with lamb. My only feedback is that the adjustment meant fish after fish option and I would’ve loved beef as a substitution to the lamb. Aside from that, this experience was worth the high price point. The staff were attentive, friendly, and generous with their service. Palestinian food is delicious!!“

“We went for the Restaurant Week menu, but everyone had to participate and that didn't work for us. We managed though and enjoyed the meal. Service was slow and random, but the food and price was good. Although we ordered off the regular menu i hoped to order a serving of their Restaurant Week ice cream dessert. Apparently this wasn't an option. It was a single serving of ice cream... seemed odd to me i couldn't order it individually.“

Mango salsa was the best I’ve had. We also ordered the BBQ bowl. I wouldn’t change a thing in it. Try the Red Rice. It’s really good. “Sushi Hachi is the best sushi restaurant I have ever been to; it was so good that my boyfriend and I went back two nights in a row. Their cocktails are great, and my personal favourite was the 8th street specialty sushi. The atmosphere and mood is calm and pleasant, and the staff and service is top notch. I have to mention our waitress too from the second time, Soko. She remembered us from the previous night, she even remembered which drink she had made me! And she took the time to make some recommendations for us, and brought us some miso on the house and was just the most pleasant and friendly waitress I have had in a while. Thank you!!! The Cauliflower Steak is my favorite but I am also a fan of the Greek Potato Salad. I have tried the Confetti Bowl and there is another bowl similar to the Confetti Bowl that I am not recalling at the moment. Y'all need a location in (around) the Navy Yard-Ballpark area!“

​We ordered a solid spread across the table:
​Steak Frites: Cooked just right, tender, and the herbaceous chimichurri sauce added great flavor. The fries were hot, golden, and crispy.
​Chicken Pasta: Rich, creamy sauce balanced nicely by the capers and fresh lemon squeeze, with generous portions of chicken.
​Caesar Salad: Crisp romaine, plenty of parmesan, and crunchy croutons—classic and refreshing.
​Ted's Tart: The nostalgic rainbow sprinkles with whipped cream made for a fun, sweet finish to the meal.
​The real frustration came with the check. Between the added service fee/surcharge and the prompt for standard tipping on top of that, the final bill felt disproportionately high for casual neighborhood dining. Hidden fees stacking up on top of regular menu prices takes away from what would have otherwise been an easy 4- or 5-star meal.

Atmosphere: 10/10 such a great upstairs music venue. Has a bar, an out door roof area and great dance floor. Never seen an upstairs space like it and I love that it’s hidden within the cute pie shop. Such a great vibe and I got to see my favorite artist of the year -Otto Benson- put on an amazing performance an arms length away from me. Great sound and lighting. 👌ideal music venue.“
