Kiwi burger was good but the steak frites needed some salt and maybe something else. Oh, definitely get their house made tiramisu. Another one on point! “stopped by here for lunch since i drive by all the time. i was highly impressed. it’s a small shop but the food it’s incredible. i think it was the owner who helped me out he was very friendly and made everyone coming in smile and laugh.

now for the food: i got the reuben and it honestly was the best one ive ever had. the bread was soft while the edges were crisp. and it had alotttt of filling. it was a messy sandwich but i’d get it again and again. also got a side of fries and putting the fries inside the sandwich was honestly really good too.
the desserts looked really good so i couldn’t resist i ended up getting a hazelnut mouse. oh my god. it was really good it reminded me of a ferrero rocher but it wasn’t crunchy it was incredibly smooth and silky.
the verdict is i highly recommend this spot, they also have wine to sip and non alcoholic drinks as well. i definitely will be coming back soon for another lunch.“

Service was superb as well, the waitress actually grilled the meat for us. They had non alcoholic beverage options. It’s been years since I had bingsoo and cold buckwheat noodles with beef broth so it was very sentimental for me to have those dishes again! Atmosphere was definitely more upscale than a regular Korean bbq restaurant.“

“Nicely decorated steakhouse. We went there to celebrate our anniversary. Our table was nicely decorated with anniversary decor. Our waiter, Reda (not sure of spelling) was wonderful and the service was excellent. Their sourdough bread with whipped butter was very tasty. We ordered the wet age rib eye, the prime rib, brussel sprouts and french fries. Everything was cooked to perfection. The portion of the sides was more than enough for two people. The chocolate souffle was the perfect ending to our meal. Their prices are comparable to other steakhouses in the area and would definitely visit again. They have valet parking and the also validate parking in the garage.“

“Today my husband and I had the opportunity to dine at Fleming. The staff was AMAZING! Matt, the manager was on top of every request, need, and want. As soon as anyone in the restaurant needed anything, we witnessed him assisting the service staff to make sure that it was done immediately. He is the type of manager that people dream of! Wish he were on my team. Luis was our server and was great! He was on top of our every need, was attentive, and easily on of the best servers I've ever had. To round out the team, Juan was behind Luis with any additional support that we needed. Quiet professional with great service; Quick, fast, and in a hurry. The ambiance of the restaurant is hard to find in DC. It was quiet enough for a one on one conversation, but energetic enough to make sure that we were not bored. The food was top notch! My stomach hurts because I should have tapped out 15 minutes ago but the food was too good to stop. I'd recommend the Leviathan wine and tomahawk steak. We are big eaters and could not finish our salads and soup, steak, or desserts! My husband highly recommends the French onion soup, Mac and cheese, and Brussels sprouts. Overall the service, ambiance, food, and staff were wayyyyyy more than we expected. We look forward to patronizing this location again. I wish I had pics, but we ate too fast.“

“I hosted a friend’s birthday party at ShipGarten and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, the staff was absolutely amazing. They made the entire planning process easy and stress-free, with clear, quick, and efficient communication every step of the way. They were incredibly accommodating. The food was great, my favorites were the funnel cake fries and the guacamole. The Cider was delicious!!! The venue itself is fantastic for hosting events, and I highly recommend ShipGarten for birthdays, gatherings, or any special occasion. One of the things I love most is that they also host dog-friendly events, which makes the place even more special! I had an amazing time and will absolutely be using ShipGarten for future events!!!“
