“I haven't been to Outback for a long time, but after the disastrous experience at Bourbon Boulevard, I figured I could get a thicker cut steak. I started with their new Sriracha Chicken Bites. The sriracha wasn't too spicy, and the ranch was tangy. I had the bone in ribeye with bourbon onion. It was cooked medium rare and had a good flavor. The onion on top could have been sautéed a bit longer for more carmelization, but overall, it was a solid steak for less than 1/2 the price of the other steakhouse. I finished with a chocolate thunder dessert. The portion is smaller than it used to be, but calorie wise, it was much lighter. My server, Teresa, was great. She kept my diet coke full and was very attentive.“
“Solid restaurant for a night out. There's only one meal on the menu and you get bread, salad, steak and fries. At first we didn't think it was enough food but then the waitresses unexpectedly brought out a second round. I wish they had told us that was happening before. It was odd and I wish they had just brought everything out at once. The food was pretty good but honestly not exceptional enough for it to be the only thing on the menu. Great service. The tables were very close together with not a lot of room to move around. Outdoor seating was also available“
“The food was very good. I had the soup if the day. It was a black bean chilli was big pieces of smoked meat and topped with cheese and red onion. Delicious! The collards greens were tender but over seasoned with vinager. I was definitely go back for the chili!“
“Where do I begin, The service I receive here was by far THE BEST. My daughter girlfriend wanted to pop the question at this location. I called and spoke with the General Manager Santos. I explained what I wanted and he assured me that he was going to do it. He went above and beyond. Hands down the best Ruth Chris. Also our server James( Jim) was the absolute best. If you at this location ask for Santos tell him Alisha sent you.“
“They have a top rating for a reason. 5-star food, service, and atmosphere. The biscuit appetizer with pimento cheese is amazing. The wagyu steak was even better - the salt seasoning was on point. I put salt on everything but no need to here because it's so flavorful (and cooked to perfection). I don't even need to try the ice cream to review it. Its handmade, and they have so many flavors, including marshmallow. Wish I could've indulged. Instead, I got one of the five dessert alcoholic flights. Again, amazing.Service - from everyone but specifically my waiter Mika - was phenomenal. Loved everyone here. And atmosphere is so intimate and warm.If I had to critique, I'd say don't sit next to the door. Super cold and windy in this corridor area. And, sharpen the steak knives. ?.“
“Dinner with colleagues while in DC area. From the time we were greeted and seated to leaving following dessert, service, food and attention were top shelf!! Half of our party made reservations for dinner with spouses for the following week.!! Highly recommended!“
“Never a DISAPPOINTMENT‼️ I won't even leave a long post, IT'S A MUST that you go & experience it for yourself.. and tell Tony & Mauricio to keep being the BEST waiters in the world‼️Parking: Parking is located directly across the street.. EV's is on the 4th floor“
“I came here with a reservation to celebrate my birthday and the experience was well worth it. Getting to the restaurant was within walking distance of my hotel and easy to get to. I was greeted and quickly seated. Kim the server was amazing, they have a pianist in the center of the restaurant who is very good.I had a Large crab cake which came with a creamy sauce as an appetizer. The taste of the crab cake was good, but the sauce really made it stand out.I then had their Maine lobster which you have the option to get with, or without Imperial. The lobster is cooked then the inner-side is removed and stuffed with crab cake and shrimp in addition to the lobster then is placed back into the shell. I thought about adding the sauce that came with my appetizer but was concerned it would take away the seafood flavor and make everything too soggy. Im glad I didnt and just added lemons and the butter that already came with it.Whenever I come back to DC this will be my spot and will look forward to trying out their steaks.“
“My new favorite spot in the Washington DC area. What I love is the backstory on the family who founded the restaurant. Multiple dining rooms were elegant and tasteful. We love the ambiance. The chef preparation was delicious and the service was top notch. Please be mindful that market rates are on the pricier end. You can cut through the steak like butter. Will recommend.“
“I went to RARE recently for the first time for a date night. When we walked in, we were greeted and offered to take our coats for us. The 1st floor has the bar and some seating. The restaurant is very classy, dim and romantic. We were seated upstairs and greeted by our waiter. Our waiter was very nice, funny and attentive to our food and drinks preferences. He was patient and checked in on us throughout the night. I ordered the wet-aged NY strip (14 oz) and whipped potatoes which is close to mashed potatoes. The NY strip ( medium cooked) was tender, juicy and seasoned well. I enjoyed the steak, it was delicious. If you want a juicier and more tender steak, you can try the dry-aged bone-in NY strip on the menu. Next the whipped potatoes, I personally think it can add more herbs to add flavor since there's no garlic flavor in the potatoes. It wasn't impressive to me but good enough to still order it. Overall, I had a good experience and good food so I would come back again.“
“My husband took me there to celebrate my birthday and I must say we had a wonderful time. The ambiance, service, the food was all A1 and we highly recommend this restaurant for a fine dining experience. Our server Rodrigo went above and beyond to make my birthday extra special.“
“The New York strip steak was good but not OMG good, requested medium rare, cooked medium. The Snow Crab Appetizer was overly salty. Once we told the servicer we would be splitting our dishes, his demeanor changed and we were neglected. Overpriced and under delivered.“
“First time in DC, my friend and I had the pleasure of eating here. Crab dip to pasta to 3 layer chocolate cake was amazing. Zac was our server and he did a great job with checking up on us. Furthermore, he ensured we received our food and that it was to our standards. I truly appreciate Zac and the restaurant.“
“Then drinks are strong, the food is good and the wait staff are wonderful! They have a great Happy Hour menu with a variety of small bites (go for the fish bites, and fried shrimp) and discounted cocktails (cosmos, manhattans, martinis). The upstairs bar is a little more tucked away/private and perfect for getting a group together. Love that this place has been around since 1948 and still thriving!“
“Having dined here twice, my main recommendation is to avoid coming on a Friday or Saturday even if you have a reservation! Food is great and it makes for a good dining experience when it's not crazy. A peak time on a Friday and Saturday and you're liable to be waiting for quite a while for your reservation.“
“Bartender was great. I saw he was slammed and he needed to make a bunch of service drinks, I waited patiently to order a beer. An impatient guest came up demanding drinks and the bartender explained that I had been there before him waiting for service, and then the bartender gave me his full attention. When I got to my table, I was overwhelmed with good service. These folks know how to treat a guest. I felt like a King at this establishment. The only down side was, I was trying to maneuver to the salad bar with a leg injury and another impatient guest tried to cut in front of me for a plate very abruptly. I couldn't pivot out of his way and it was extremely rude. I noticed some of the clientele that dine here seem to be the "need to be seen" group of folks who want to appear to have money and think being rude is an indication of class. They exposed their souls, and classless mannerisms. However, the staff was classy. The host, the bartender, the waiter, the valet, ALL of the gauchos who tended to me with meat, were unequivocally professional. Whoever manages this place knows how to rock. I can't imagine the kind of people they have to deal with on a daily basis, but these servers are God's people and I was happy to be served by them. Matthew 20:16. Bless this place and all those who serve here.-HALL“
“I took my husband for his birthday. Dinner was delicious, the staff were so gracious and the restaurant was beautiful and extremely clean. We had a quite, romantic dinner away from the crowd. I’m looking forward to making our next reservation.“
“I was on my way back home with my family and we decided to have dinner at Victor's grill it was our first time I highly recommend ? if you are a Bolivian/argentina food lover it's really good the steaks is on point and perfectly cook on temperature we ask for. ? and the chimichuri was a ? if you are around backlick or Leesburg.. you should try out!“
“This is single handedly the greatest sandwich, no meal I’ve ever had. I went to D.C. for a school trip back in may and got the philly cheesesteak as lunch one day with fries. Let me just say the philly cheesesteak was amazing i wish i could move to D.C. just to eat this often. I was on the verge of tears out of just pure joy after the second bite. Once i finished my sub i went and got another one because i wanted to relive my first experience. All i can say is that it was purely heavenly and i wouldn’t be suprised if god himself prepared this for me. It was a divine meal fit for not the normal stomach and taste buds. This meal has altered my opinion on food itself for the past 4 months. Please franchise and make more across the country so i can eat this within a relative location.“
“Shrimp Stuffed Bronzino w/cream spinach. The cream spinach is stuffed inside with shrimp. That was a good dish and good portion size this coming from someone who never eats all of their food, but I'm happy to say that delightfully finished my whole meal. We had the shrimp and calamari as an appetizer my husband and I shared and it was also good. Drinks were good and the service was also good, we each received a complimentary glass of champagne. Took a little while to come back with the check. But would go back.“
“It’s been a while since we’ve eaten at Outback and we thoroughly enjoy our evening. Our server, Ty, was top notch! She gave honest opinions when we were trying decide which drinks and food to choose. We will definitely ask for her to be our server again.“
“A lovely place to celebrate a birthday or anything else, or just because. The wagyu and brussel sprouts were delicious, finished with a birthday treat light and fluffy mango popsicle dessert, also a sweet delicious surprise. I will definitely dine here again. Our server only checked on us once, yet the place was not crowded on a Friday night in late January, so 4 stars for that.“
“Great experience and highly recommend. We went for happy hour which they host everyday. It includes some fun cocktails, wine, beer, & a list of menu items to try. We enjoyed the scallops, wings, and a couple tacos. You can’t go wrong there is something for everyone. Also, the outdoor patio is pup friendly. The servers could not have been kinder on both our visits. We will definitely be back.“
“Casual no frills Churrasqueria in a strip mall. Attentive quick and very friendly service. Good selection of wines by the glass and smoothies made of fresh fruits. We ordered the special platters: short ribs, steak, Argentine sausages are delicious; the unusual blood pudding, and liver stuffed intestine are tasty if you are feeling adventurous. The chicken and pork chops are marinated well but a bit on the dry side.$84 appears pricy but fed us, two hungry adults and one starving kid with the pork and chicken remaining.“
“We always eat here when we’re in town. The food was great, as always! However, the service was subpar to say the least. Not sure of the exact reason, but the service last night was significantly worse than our previous experiences, and definitely not what you’d expect when spending $150+ on dinner.“
“Hi Clay We shared the gargantuan 22 oz prime rib with creamy creamed spinach and delectable au gratin potatoes. The cornbread was fresh and hot and not rubbery as it has been in the past. One misstep, which is common when dining here and elsewhere, is the failure of the waitstaff to revisit on occasion to see if one needs a refill for their drinks. Not once were we asked if we wanted to have our drink refreshened. Secondly, the creamed horseradish for the prime rib had a watery consistency, was diminutive in portion size (1-2 tablespoons) and lacked a punch. Note: if you're going to offer different sizes of prime rib, offer portions of the horse radish sauce to correspond with the prime rib order size. We had to request more sauce 3 times. Wildfire does have a great menu, and it's an enjoyable restaurant, but it's not perfect. We still love coming here.“
“Came here for a nice dinner date and was not disappointed. We made a reservation and were seated right away when arrived. Staffs were nice and friendly.Crab bisque was delicious and well-seasoned. The crabmeat croquette was alright, had only a little taste of crabmeat, so I would try something else next time.Steak was cooked perfectly as ordered and paired well with the garlic butter, if you like some more of the sweeter profile then the brandy mushroom sauce was a good pair as well. We were full by the time we finished out meal so we did not have room to try their dessert this time, though it looked good (from a peek of another table that ordered the chocolate mousse and chocolate lava cake, yum)This restaurant is very small and tables are set very close to each other, so it felt a little crammed during the dinner rush.We did not have a problem finding a parking spot when arrived, since this restaurant located in a small plaza, it might be a challenge to park during rush hours.Overall, it was a good meal.“
