Excellent restuarant for many occasionals. The only issue was that the waiter put down the check before we were finished eating. He also forgot the anniversary note I made in the reservation. Otherwise, it was a fantastic experience and dining, as usual.
We came here for Christmas Eve dinner last night. We were 15 minutes early, but we were seated within five minutes, which was a nice surprise. The salad and appetizer bar was well-stocked. I noticed how fresh everything was, and how promptly empty platters were replenished. The smoked salmon offered was really fresh and clean tasting. Food has declined over the last few years. Our server left a lot to be desired. Believe he thought since we had two young children that we wouldn't tip him well enough. Unfortunately for him that attitude cost him. Had to ask for a kids drink 5 times before he finally brought it. I'm the GM of a DC area restaurant and was happy Chima was open for our family dinner but was disappointed in the service. It's too bad I really enjoyed this place in the past.
