I had the veggie burger with fries. I did order an Arnold Palmer ice tea and a regular iced tea. They do it give refills on the Arnold Palmer so I thought the iced tea would be a refill...nope I was charged $5 for both. Next time I will just get a water. $5 for one drink is not worth it.

Burger and brew really good. The burger was large and cooked perfect. They substituted the fries for a pear salad for no extra charge. Gave 4 bc my friend said her fries were too crispy.

We ordered a crab shrimp avocado dip that was delicious. Fettucini alfredo with chicken was very good and salmon dish was moist either good flavor. I loved the atmosphere with an industrial look with old woods and brick.

Food was really good, definitely recommend any of their dips. Service was mediocre at best. Server wasn’t particularly nice but she also couldn’t do her job well enough. We ordered our appetizers and entrees at the same time, expecting them to be coursed out correctly. They weren’t. Entrees came out about 5 minutes before the appetizers and all we got was a measly “sorry” as one of our dishes got cold.

Matchbox gets 3 stars because it truly is okay. The food definitely doesn't match the decor. The location itself is really nice. I just wasn't blown away by anything we ordered. Our server went above and beyond, doing a great job of tending to our table, and I really don't want to write a long review dragging these guys, because like I said it was okay. I just personally wasn't that impressed by the food, and didn't see anything else that made me feel I needed to come back and try it.

I just give two stars the reason why I give them is because my service was great, she did it very well the only thing was that the waiter told me some things that they didn't have available at the time. Then came a manager named "Daniel" who I feel that he shouldn't be a manager just went to say I'm sorry but that. He didn't even tell us if we would like anything else. I feel that for him to be a manager he lacks a lot of experience. That's why I only give two stars!

This isn't my first rodeo with matchbox, I've been to all locations in the area. With great service , good food you can never go wrong here. If it's family dinner , few friends or even date night. They have menu options that cater to all even vegetarians, the drinks are always good and quickly served. Matchbox is a stable in the pizza world in the DMV area so book a reservation or just walk in you'll have a great experience. Everything was beautifully cooked and delicious 4/5
