“Stumbled upon yesterday when I was picking up from Thai Select. I walked in and almost fell over with the beauty of this pastry/coffee shop. I only had time enough to purchase a S'mores cookie. OH MY WORD! I'll be BACK.“

“We got two Salmon Lover sets and a Unagi roll to go and everything was really good. The salmon sashimi was fresh and the rolls were generously filled. The unagi was spot on too.

They threw in three complimentary pieces of sushi and two free miso soups with our takeout order, which was a really nice surprise. When I wasn’t sure what to get for drinks, they had great suggestions for sake and beer. Great experience overall, will definitely be back!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​“

“Listen. I only go here for the Chocolate de Abuela (Cuban hot chocolate). I’ve never tried anything else on the menu. It’s so hard to find bougie hot chocolate in this town. In the fall and winter, they put a Cuban style marshmallow in the bottom of the cup and it’s so decadent. But in the spring and summer, the marshmallow disappears but I think they still charge the same for this drink. Offer the marshmallow year round!! Or at least give us a little discount in the spring/summer for our sorrow. One time I went and the marshmallow wasn’t back yet and I left, saying “see you in two weeks” haha.“

“The coffee is really delicious, and the pastries are too!
I ordered an iced latte with tiramisu syrup, and it was spectacular!
The croissant with a cookie [crookie] is an interesting combo, but pretty tasty. It's a bit sweet, so if you're not a huge fan of overly sweet things, I wouldn't recommend ordering it. I had to separate the cookie from the filled croissant because I think it was a bit too much for me (it was super good btw).
The service in general was good, and the outdoor benches are very nice

The team here consistently delivers the best coffee and pastries in the area, with a true dedication to authentic Cuban flavors across all their hot and cold drinks. The location is beautifully decorated and impeccably maintained, making it a wonderful place to visit. What really sets them apart, however, is the kind, attentive staff and the highly responsive customer support. It is rare to find this level of professional craft and service at such reasonable prices. Bravo to the owners and team!“

She memorized my exact order since I come in so often and she’s quick, efficient, and hospitable to all customers and super sweet. “I live and die by my bubble tea and nobody does it like Bangkok 54! Their drinks are authentically Thai and you can find stuff here that you can’t find elsewhere like Lod Chong, Milo, and Hale’s. I think I’m addicted to their Hale’s Blue Boy slushie - I’ve had 3 this week alone! I’ve been coming here for a long time and the staff is always so kind, especially to my infant child whenever we bring him with his stroller. They remember him and always make him smile!“

I don’t usually drink coffee and I’m from Washington state so they are usually strong over there and here it was less strong and had a real chocolate flavor with some chocolate bits at the bottom it tasted so real.“
