“Decided to check Cafe Sushi Garden out today because I really wanted sushi but I didn’t want to go far, so I walked over and I was very happy and satisfied I went! It’s a small and cozy space with a good variety of different sushi at a very reasonably price. The owner and sushi chef was very kind and friendly. Highly recommend and will be back.“
“I am always on the lookout for local coffee shops. And this one didn't disappoint. Great coffee, and people were also too nice. cafe was nicely decorated and has good seating space. I was in Arlington for 3 days and came here to get coffee every single day.“
“While staying in Arlington for work I met up with an old friend to catch up with over coffee. Three whistles is the perfect location to do just that. There is plenty of seating to accommodate multiple sized parties, and very large store front windows letting in plenty of light. I went on a Monday and there were also a good amount of people in there quietly working from their laptops, I assume there is WiFi if that is something you are looking for. we got a cozy corner booth and when you order the staff will deliver your food and coffee to your table. I ordered an iced hazelnut latte and a ham and cheese breakfast croissant. The coffee was pretty tastey, but nothing life changing. The hazelnut flavoring coming through was just the right amount not to over powering, and for my croissant was also equally delicious. They do theirs a little differently, the croissant itself is completely enclosed stuffed with ham and cheese. And there were plenty of other options if you are in the mood for something else.“
“Mumu is the greatest! The food is fresh and delicious and always has a special touch - like the deliciously seasoned potatoes on the side of the sandwiches. Also, the owner Jermaine is a great guy and always goes the extra mile. My favorite is the avocado caprese. You may think you’ve had a lot of avocado toast, but you’ve never had one as fresh and delicious as this one. Get over to Mumu on Langston Blvd underneath Moms - parking is easy, too!“
“My friend had her baby shower upstairs, and I fell in love with the place. I’d driven by it many times, but had never gone in. I was surprised by how cozy and welcoming the space was. There was a ton of meter parking right out front. The woman who helped us plan the shower was Kelly. She is AMAZING! She was sooo helpful and very professional. I made sure to save her info for our next event! Wonderful experience all around.“
“They're doing an excellent job of carrying the torch in a spot that has served as a neighborhood staple coffee shop for decadesBeware, they've found major traction on social media over the last year or so, and are well-deservedly extremely crowded every weekend morning as a result“
“Family owned business that treats their customers like family. Their service was very fast and professional. I highly reccomend the chicken fajita omelet and the Bulgogi Bi-Bim-Bap! Also their macadamia nut cookie parred with their freshly brewed coffee is a combo that will have you coming back. Lastly, the atmosphere is quiet serene. Great place to sip on coffee and read.“
“Been seeing the "coming soon" signs at this place all last year and had a chance to try last night, as me and my wife didn't feel like cooking and it was a Friday night! The Three empanadas, drink and a 1 sauce is decently priced at $16 for a filling meal. Parking is limited and there are no tables for groups. You're better off ordering for pickup. My favorite is the Spicy Pork empanada filled with pork, black beans and corn. For reference, the spice level of the Spicy Pork and their "Mild" sauce is about that of Taco Bell "Fire" sauce. At 6PM, a lot of their menu items were sold out or otherwise not available. Looks like this place is better at lunchtime. Since it's hard to get parking, I would either park at the garage across the street and walk 4 minutes, or order for pickup or to delivery. Unfortunately, there would not be enough seating to bring work colleagues here. Better to organize an empanada party at the office. VIDEO“
“Absolutely amazing customer service and quality of food. They are accommodating for dietary restrictions and were very helpful talking to me about gluten free options. They offer GF toast and are accommodating to warm it up separately from other bread and wearing gloves to avoid cross contamination. 10/10 experience hereDietary restrictions: Gluten free bread available“
“Very good! It was my first time visiting this establishment. The highlight for me was the blueberry buttercream donut. It might be more convenient to get here by metro ? /walking, but if a parking space opens up, you’re in luck. I look forward to visiting again ?“
“This was my first time getting takeaway from Chill Zone on recommendation from family and friends. Overall, the food was delicious, the cafe was very cozy, and the service was great BUT I found a piece of what I assume was stainless steel wool in my vermicelli chicken bowl--I spotted it immediately upon opening the box, so quality control appears to be lacking. This was super disappointing because otherwise, this would've been a five-star experience.“
“Best pie in the DMV! Sol Schott is a talented baker who isn't afraid to craft new recipes. His Belgium waffle-topped mixed berry pie is amazing... a custard-soaked waffle baked on top of a pie! So unique. He also has all the favorites... apple pie in many varieties, key lime, sour cherry, and decadent chess pies and quiches. The shop is small and fun to visit... eat your pie at the bar or play the vintage pinball machines. Love it!“
“Great spot to pick up some sweet treats. But their coffee is not the best... The interior ambiance is very clean, simple, and pretty to the eye. The service here is great and the staff are all nice. I would recommend this spot more for snacks/ food/ treats, than coffee.“
“A great, casual, local cafe and bakery with amazing pastries. We keep trying new things on the menu every time we go and everything so far has been delicious. There are good savoury and sweet options such as the smoked salmon croissant and the brioche donut. You can also grab whole cakes and small gifts if you’re entertaining at home. The staff have always been friendly and helpful whenever we have been there. The cafe has a laidback atmosphere - I often see people working or catching up in there.“
“Visit was, Sunday, Jan 7, 2024. We will be back. The staff is pleasant, and the bathrooms are clean. The heat was a tad too warm, but that’s because it was a warmer day. All seats were full, but it was still very spacious with wonderful natural lighting.“
“Fast & friendly service and some very nice pasta for lunch... Nicer than I expected from the decor which was a bit old & tired - I probably wouldn't have tried the place, if it weren't for seeing other good reviews! Could stand to turn the AC down a bit “
“This place is quickly becoming my favorite lunch spot.I haven't tried anything on the menu I haven't liked (and boy do I hope they keep the special Cuban chicken panini and don't phase it out)There's no seating here, but there plenty in the building hallway, and outside if the weather complies.Ps. Their coffee is amazing“
“This is the local sandwich shop/cafe for all of us that work in the area. They serve breakfast and lunch. I strongly recommend if you want a good sandwich because it's the only spot in Rosslyn that has a solid sandwich. My colleagues and I have been here many many times. It's not winning any food awards. However, the sandwiches are made fresh, tastes great, and priced just right. Strongly recommend if you work in the area or just visiting.“
“Everything was perfect. I’ve been here several times now. Great spot in the neighborhood. Good for dinner or just drinks and apps. Menu changes often, seems to be seasonal. Great wine selection at reasonable prices. Hosts are very welcoming.“
