“Listen. I only go here for the Chocolate de Abuela (Cuban hot chocolate). I’ve never tried anything else on the menu. It’s so hard to find bougie hot chocolate in this town. In the fall and winter, they put a Cuban style marshmallow in the bottom of the cup and it’s so decadent. But in the spring and summer, the marshmallow disappears but I think they still charge the same for this drink. Offer the marshmallow year round!! Or at least give us a little discount in the spring/summer for our sorrow. One time I went and the marshmallow wasn’t back yet and I left, saying “see you in two weeks” haha.“

“I cannot recommend Colada Shop highly enough. The team here consistently delivers the best coffee and pastries in the area, with a true dedication to authentic Cuban flavors across all their hot and cold drinks. The location is beautifully decorated and impeccably maintained, making it a wonderful place to visit. What really sets them apart, however, is the kind, attentive staff and the highly responsive customer support. It is rare to find this level of professional craft and service at such reasonable prices. Bravo to the owners and team!“

“We moved to NOVA from Miami and needed a fix of our typical home style Cuban food. I came across this place on TikTok and was intrigued because the food looked great from just a couple videos. Well…. I’m happy to report that the food not only looked good but tasted fantastic! It was the perfect meal to cure our homesickness. Will definitely be back!“

“The tacos chapines and al pastor were both very savory, hearty, and delicious! The chips and salsa were fresh and the interior smelled amazing. Everything was made fresh to order and the service was friendly. I will definitely be back to try a couple of the sandwiches that other reviewers are raving about.“

“Quick, pleasant, and otherwise attentive, staff members at Colada Shop on The Wharf are consummate professionals. Even when I haven’t yet ordered, and am in line, staff prepares my order [they know my preferences] and swiftly checks me out. Coffee and food are delicious. Wonderful.“

“Went here for dinner and I would the good was good! Our server recommended the crab dip and I would say it was quiet delicious and plenty of lump crabmeat. The vibe of the place was really nice. The only thing was a little bad was getting was trying to get our waiters attention, but that's very minor. Other than that, it was a great dinner“
