“My wife and I stopped by for dinner today. First time here and we were warmly greeted when we went inside. It's cafe style so you order at the register, pay, and they bring your food.

We got a couple appetizers, beef shawarma and falafel ousheh. The quality of the ingredients they used was absolutely fantastic. Everything had so much flavor and was prepared perfectly. This is a great spot with laid back / relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely recommend coming here with some friends or date night. We will definitely come back soon!“

“Mejana was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We loved the crispy kibbeh and spring rolls to start, and the tabbouleh was incredibly fresh with the perfect balance of herbs, lemon, and tomatoes. The mixed grill was the highlight—tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, served with fragrant rice and grilled vegetables.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive throughout the evening. If you’re looking for authentic Mediterranean cuisine with generous portions and great flavors, Mejana is definitely worth a visit. We’ll be back!“

“After studying abroad in Morocco and falling in love with the food, I'm so happy I found an amazing and authentic local restaurant. The owner is so kind and there are often Moroccan people patronizing the restaurant so you know it's legit. Give it a try if you want an unforgettable meal. I especially love the bastilla and the lamb with plums. Don't be afraid to eat with the bread and your hands! You'll want to sop up every last drop on the flavorful sauce/broths.“

“Dining at Albi was a special experience. We were lucky enough to book the Hearth table and watched the kitchen interact and prepare the food. The warmth and hospitality of the staff, not just with the diners, but with each other was sincerely heartwarming. Every dish was amazing and there was not a single thing we disliked. My personal favorites were the crab, dates and lamb with cinnamon. This is probably one of my favorite Michelin experiences and Albi deserves all the accolades given to it and more.

Edit to add: they had the best morning after goodie bag of all the Michelin restaurants!“

“Leb Tav is a gem! The chicken shawarma pita was bursting with flavor, the beef shawarma was tender and perfectly spiced, and the falafel was crispy outside, soft inside—absolutely delicious. The seasoned French fries were a great side, and their sauces bar is a highlight, offering a rich variety of bold, fresh flavors to customize every bite. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Highly recommend!“

We went there for dinner on Saturday evening, and find the atmosphere of the place really nice, with very professional service. The server was not checking on us every 5 second, which we particularly appreciated, and they offered us a free dessert at the end.
The food was good - we really liked pita bread with the oil, eggplant dip was a nice mix of flavors and falafel was good as expected.
My husband took a lamb and minced beef dish, served on the rice - it was good but the meat seemed boiled. To be fair, we have no idea though, if this is how this dish should be served.
I took chicken shouk, the meat was really juicy and tasty but not sure if a chicken breast, some rice, 2 mini tomatoes and a bit of garlic yogurt are worth 25$. One star less therefore for the mains.“

“I have ordered many catered dinners from Lebtav Silver Spring for years! Bal consistently demonstrates outstanding customer service. Food is always delicious. I have never been disappointed by their shawarma, grapes leaves, fatayer. There are few places that can offer meals to diverse guests with food restrictions (halal, vegetarian, no seafood, etc) with such wonderful service, quality, and value.“

The BEC or what is known as the Beef Egg and Cheddar was marvelous and the bread was a perfect compliment. The Egg Z was amazing, and the Cheese Press was chefs kiss.

They where able to set up a pop up shawarma station for 150 guests. Their partnership with Society for the alcohol service is a winning combination. Ali is just GREAT! I will be using them again!“

“The very best meat, spinach and cheese pies (fattayer) and kibbi, so good I had them at my wedding. I'm as Lebanese as they come, I've been eating this all my life, and hers is simply the best. The dough is unlike anything, thin yet with a flavorful body to it, and the meat spice (get the spicy one if available) and spinach filling just have to be tried. The eggplant salad and cabbage rolls are phenomenal too. Nabila is the sweetest person and the market always has great things. The homemade laban (yogurt) is the best yogurt I've ever had, which we eat with the meat and spinach pies. I always get the mejduul dates and namouurra when they're available.“
