There is a pleasing range of mezzes, salads, entrees hot and cold, flat breads, spreads, etc . I had a Yayla mule, 3 spreads, lemony rice soup and superb shrimp. Friends chose a range of other dishes. I can guarantee whatever you choose, you won’t be disappointed. Everything is flavorful, fresh and beautifully presented. Wait staff and servers are friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and not obtrusive. Don’t miss the nice selection of creative cocktails, wine variety and desserts. “Stumbled into Akivva Grill after my dog’s vet appointment nearby — great find. Fresh ingredients, well-seasoned meat on the spit, and generous portions at a fair price. Clean spot, no-frills service — the older guys are focused on the food, not small talk. Just order, eat, and enjoy.“

“Service is amazing the waiter and manager were amazing. My friends and I arrived after making reservations for high tea @ 9:30am. When we arrived turned out they didn’t have high tea until 11:00 so the manager let us know we were too early. We said no worries we will order breakfast and then have the high tea when it’s ready. Keep in mind the normal high tea is like $35 dollars. Manager came back and said they don’t have high tea during the week only on weekends. We were bummed since our friend was visiting, manager came back and asked how many high teas we wanted we said only one now since we are lobster eggs Benedict. They said okay we can see what the chef can prepare. Waiter comes out with three high teas later. Truly amazing but we only wanted one.

The only bad thing is Bill comes and we are charged $86 dollars for the high tea when they didn’t tell us there was a price difference. I do feel like the manager or at least the waiter should have told us that the high teas were going to be $86 dollars. Our lunch per person was $199.00 this could the most expensive lunch I’ve had. Make sure you ask questions. Please servers and managers explain that there is a price difference.“

“This restaurant is worth a visit! I tried the Yalla Lamb bowl and was impressed with the quality of ingredients. The bowl was really filling with delicious flavors. Their fresh juices were also great tasting.

“I came to Astor after a long day of work to eat and decompress, and I was greeted with so much hospitality and kindness. I was gifted lentil soup along with a complimentary pastry to eat with my espresso. This experience was one of my favorites. It was such a blessing to experience the kindness of others in such an unexpected way. The falafel pita was so fresh and delicious, the fries were just right. The espresso had such a smooth flavor as well. I’m very impressed and will definitely return in the near future.“

“Probably the best airport meal I've ever had. The portions are generous and very, very good value for airport food. The flavors were unique, and I found my bowl to be delicious! The server was also so friendly.

I had a choice to eat at the American Airlines Admirals Club or somewhere else in the airport, and I chose this place because it looked different than what you'd usually find at an airport. I am so glad I chose to try it!“

“My wife and I stopped by for dinner today. First time here and we were warmly greeted when we went inside. It's cafe style so you order at the register, pay, and they bring your food.

We got a couple appetizers, beef shawarma and falafel ousheh. The quality of the ingredients they used was absolutely fantastic. Everything had so much flavor and was prepared perfectly. This is a great spot with laid back / relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely recommend coming here with some friends or date night. We will definitely come back soon!“

Add to that a location with parking options that is also only about a block from the Court House metro stop. Definitely one of Arlington's best.“
