“How did I forget to review Plaka?? Plaka is consistently amazing. Fast, delicious and friendly service every single time. I love introducing people to Plaka. The food is always fresh and tasty. Some of my favorite things are the Plaka Gyro Wrap which has Authentic Greek-style pork gyro with tomatoes, onions, tzatziki and fries inside. It's filling but you won't be in a food coma afterwards. I also love getting the plaka bowls where you can choose what you want in them. Kind of like Cava but way better.“
“Honestly, this is some of the best Persian food I've had in an upscale restaurant. I've had a ton in LA and Dubai.Each dish is thoughtful and incredibly well seasoned. They are true to traditional preparations, with an elegant flare in presentation.The one big minus was the service. The gentleman was kind and knowledgeable, but they forgot an appetizer, and food came out rather slowly. It wasn't too busy either. This rating could easily been a 5 star, with better service.“
“The interaction with the lady at the counter is often a cause of worry. It could be me, but her anxiety and stress levels are thru the roof all the time. It just makes me feel guilty for coming and giving them business. Honestly, this cant be good for her health.The food is scrumptious. Authentic Lebanese food to a South Asian pallette. “The food was expertly prepared. We lived in Turkey for 3 years and this was the best we've had in the US. Our waiter was friendly and made recommendations on our wine selection we never would have done ourselves. The Turkish Red wine is amazing. If you appreciate authentic Turkish food, find this place.“
“This is an incredible Mediterranean grocery store, butcher, and catering business. Their food is absolutely delicious. They are very reasonably priced and offer the most amazing Lebanese cuisine. Everything is always so fresh! They are very accommodating. Their lamb, beef, chicken, kabob, kufta, are all delicious. They have great salads, rice, and pastries as well. I always use Beirut Cafe for all my parties and my guests are always impressed. They also have quick turnaround and can customize orders as needed. Highly recommend them. I have been using them exclusively for the last 8 years!“

“Edwin helped me out! We were in the area at an appt up the street and wanted to order to go really quick. However the app pulled up McLean as the closest (15min away) instead of the Vienna location that was right up the street. So, we accidentally ordered from McLean. I didn’t realize until I showed and didn’t see our order on the to go racks. I embarrassingly told Edwin the situation and he FLAWLESSLY fixed it with no hesitation! Service was incredible here and that’s why we keep coming back. Thank you again Edwin! You saved us a headache.“

“Consistently delicious and authentic. I love the fact that the owner is always present and directing the wait staff. It shows in the degree of service that we get. The prices are really reasonable. We always get the 3 appetizer sampler - Greek yogurt, eggplant and fish roe mousse - and then the debate about lamb versus fish. The restaurant is reasonable quiet and always clean.“
