“I come here every time I get a chance, the staff is so welcoming and will do everything they can to treat you like family. The food is always perfect and the steak and chicken with the home made tzatziki is the best! I could go on and on about how much I love this place. Every time I go I leave happier and I look forward to seeing the friendly faces:) They also have the BEST gluten free pita!!!!!

“This was my first experience with this type of food, and it was good! Very filling, the single protein platter was more than I could eat in one sitting, and I'm a rather large eater. I would go back. However, I would say The Halal Guys are comparable to the Little Ceasars or Domino's of their place in the industry. If you want to play it safe with a commercialized version of Halal food, then this is it. Please don't take that as a negative, Little Ceasars has its place in the market & it's time for when necessary, and so does The Halal Guys.“

“I've been coming to this location since 2001 (it was called Atilla's back then) and the sandwiches & salads are always good. Stopped in today and had an old favorite a gyro with some black olives - it was great as usual. Fast & friendly service as well. You can place your order online and come in and pick it up or just walk in and order.“

The decor brightened an otherwise gloomy and stormy day. The service was efficient and friendly. Menu labeled for dietary restrictions and can ask server for help. The food (brunch prix fixe with burrata (no bread) and steak eggs) had the right flavors to waken the palate and satisfy the soul and the stomach. Kudos to the right amount of salt on each dish to highlight all the deliciousness. Cantaloupe to Spain was a balanced cocktail with unique flavors and smooth to drink.

Overall a memorable brunch experience and I'll be recommending to friends in and out of DC. Look forward to coming back.“

“In recent years there seems to be a proliferation of small-plate Mediterranean restaurants. But Yayla remains as one of the best, reasonably priced originals in northern Virginia. There is a pleasing range of mezzes, salads, entrees hot and cold, flat breads, spreads, etc . I had a Yayla mule, 3 spreads, lemony rice soup and superb shrimp. Friends chose a range of other dishes. I can guarantee whatever you choose, you won’t be disappointed. Everything is flavorful, fresh and beautifully presented. “We had such a wonderful experience at Kabob Station! My toddler is an extremely picky eater, and ate more here than she has anywhere else we’ve taken her. That alone deserves five stars.

They were also incredibly kind and welcoming. They even gave her a free juice, which was so sweet, and when we had a mess to clean up, one of the employees helped us—even though it absolutely was not his job to do so. That small gesture really stood out to us.

“On vacation from RI, my husband and I and very good friends had lunch at Lily’s just this past week and we fully enjoyed experience! It was a beautiful sunny day, and we were greeted with sunny faces and a friendly, highly professional staff. We sat in the outdoor area and everything from being there to fill our water glasses and explaining the menu was covered. It not only met but exceeded them. Mast-o Musir, yogurt dish with Persian dried shallot and rose petal, was exceptional— more elevated and nuanced than any we’ve had. The mushroom Khoresht stew with white truffle was another highlight, offering perfectly balanced flavors something hard to do with white truffles and a satisfying richness, complemented by the perfectly crunchy Tahdig, iconic golden rice crust. The braised lamb shoulder which Yacine suggested was the undeniable highlight of the meal I which each dish was excellent. Tender and flavorful, it was paired beautifully with texture. It’s a signature dish that rivals the best we’ve ever had, bringing to mind the legendary Bo Ssam pork shoulder from David Chang’s Momofuku— bold, unforgettable, and expertly prepared. The Gormeh Sabzi, short rib stew with its delicious sour depth, was excellent but couldn’t quite match the lamb’s showstopping brilliance. Two very minor points. While the food and service are exceptional, the main dining room lighting would benefit from dimming. A water filtration water system could make a big difference as well. JOON has firmly secured its place as a must-visit dining destination for us. We can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu.“

“Yafa Grille location in Lorton, VA is out of this world! We ordered the chicken shawarma, steak shawarma, and a chicken bowl — and every bite was absolutely incredible. The chicken was juicy, the steak was tender, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The chicken bowl was overflowing with fresh, vibrant toppings — crisp arugula, juicy tomatoes, crunchy cucumbers, briny olives, and sumac-seasoned onions. Everything was unbelievably fresh. Their garlic cream (toum) was next level — light, fluffy, and made fresh with healthy ingredients. The hummus was velvety smooth and full of flavor. You can truly taste the quality and care they put into every dish. This was hands down one of the best Mediterranean meals we’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back!“

“We’ve ordered catering from the Beirut Butcher on a number of occasions and their food has always been delicious and their service has been lovely. If there was one bit of feedback I would share is that their menu prices online are a little bit out of date, but that should be a simple website update. I would highly recommend this place for catering and make sure you reach out to them early because they get busy.“

“Cafe Monaco is absolutely the best kept secret in the McLean/Tysons Corner area.

I bought three (yes, three - don't judge me) ham/cheese/egg croissants and these might have very well been the best croissants I've ever had in the States. Crisp, wonderfully flaky, and perfectly buttered; these have become my go-to breakfast sandwich.

Honestly, you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't pay a visit to Cafe Monaco.“

“I’ve been to this CAVA location several times, and unfortunately, I consistently have an issue when the manager is working.

I order the kids meal because it is the appropriate portion for me. I cannot finish a regular meal, and I end up throwing a significant amount of it away. With the kids meal, I am able to finish my food without a problem.

However, whenever this particular manager is there, I am repeatedly told that I need to order a regular meal. I’ve also been told that I cannot request half rice and half lentils and that I must choose one or the other. I have never had an issue making the same request when another employee or manager is working.

I understand that restaurants have policies, but the inconsistent way this is being handled is frustrating. I’m simply trying to order a portion that works for me and avoid wasting food. I would appreciate it if the staff could apply the same policy consistently and treat customers respectfully.

I enjoy CAVA and would like to continue coming here, but this experience has made me consider going elsewhere.“
