The sandwich with the red sauce 8.8/10 nice healthy pieces of chicken, the Mac and cheese 9.2/10 the top was nice and crispy and the cheese was super creamy. Now the Banana pudding 9.8/10 nice thick pudding not watery at all the wafers were perfect bringing my total score to 27.8/30. the portions are well balanced!! Yeah I plan on returning to try 3 more random items from the menu”

“MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO THE ENTIRE STAFF AT MAGGIANO’s, SPRINGFIELD, VA! There are not enough word in the dictionary to describe my experience in Maggiano’s! From the time I make reservations through walking through the front door of the restaurant, the service, the managers, the chef, the food, to serving the BEST ITALIAN CUISINE SINCE ITALY, and cleanliness in the restrooms. Look, I live in Old Town Alexandria, VA, where there are some of the best Italian restaurants on the East Coast but those restaurants do not compare to my Maggiano’s. I seriously have to drive out of my way, Springfield, to get the Best Italian on the East Coast. It’s worth every second. The cuisine inside this Maggiano’s tastes exactly like my Italian grandparent’s cooked it. I frequent this restaurant at least once or twice a week. “I have been wanting to find my go-to take-out Chinese restaurant in the area, and I am, overall, happy to have found the Great Wall. The selection is very extensive, and the on-line ordering is very easy and efficient allowing me to use PayPal. I ordered the Kung Pao chicken, Mongolian beef, combination Lo Mein, and one of their Chef's Specialties, the Jumbo Shrimp with Sesame in Lemon Sauce. They are very fast with the order ready to go in about 15 minutes. The portions are very generous, and they gave me some free spring rolls and crab rangoons based on the amount of money I spent. Overall, the food was very delicious and well prepared; however, some items were exceptional, some items were just good, while one was just horrible. The standouts were the Lo Mein which used real Lo Mein noodles and the crab rangoons which were the best ones I have ever had and I don't even really care for them. The Mongolian beef and the Kung Pao chicken were good, but the real disappointment was their Chef's Specialty lemon sesame shrimp. The shrimps themselves were jumbo and good along with the lemon sauce, but the problem was they were very, very heavily breaded, way to much, making them very doughy instead of crispy. It also didn't help that the menu did not give more details about the dish. I thought the shrimp would be naked, but were instead breaded. Now, I am fine with breaded items so this was only a minor disappointment, but the actual breading technique was absolutely horrible. The worst I have ever had. Shame the most expensive dish was also the worst. I am now very hesitant to order any fried, breaded dishes from the Great Wall such as any sweet and sour entrees. Other than that the experience was overall good. The service is exceptional, professional, and friendly. So, I will go back to Great Wall again to see if they will become my go-to take-out Chinese restaurant. I am hopeful, but still have some slight reservations.”

“Stopped by Hong Kong Express in Springfield and it really hit the spot. This is classic Chinese takeout comfort food, generous portions, solid flavors, and quick service. The shrimp lo mein was tasty and filling, with tender shrimp and noodles cooked just right. The chicken with glass noodles was flavorful, especially with The hot and sour soup was so good the pork was incredibly soft and tender, making every bite delicious. Definitely one of my favorite dishes of the meal! 🍲😋 The sweet and sour chicken was a standout, crispy pieces with a bright, tangy sauce that was perfectly balanced, not too sweet and not too heavy. Everything tasted fresh, was packaged well for takeout, and portion sizes were great for sharing (or leftovers 😉). This is the kind of place you go to when you want something warm, familiar, and satisfying. If you’re in the Springfield area and craving simple, affordable, and comforting Chinese food, Hong Kong Express is a solid choice. I’ll definitely be back! 🍜✨”

“I stopped by here on my way to a meeting. My hotel had a cheerleading event going on and the free breakfast was so crowded. I pulled up here because it was close. I got the sausage breakfast burrito. It was delicious it had potatoes, eggs, sausage, peppers, onions, and cheese. I pulled into 20 minute parking and I was out in less than 10. Amazing food, fast service, and I won something out of the claw machine in the lobby too. “This place looked good so we wanted to give it a try. We got the pollo saltado (chicken with red onion and fries in a tasty sauce with rice) and pesto lomo (beef with spaghetti in a basil pesto). Both were served with garlic bread, and both were delicious. I asked for the chicken to be without tomatoes. Unfortunately it was served with tomatoes, but Geraldine apologized and quickly replaced it with no tomatoes. We also tried the raspberry cola inglesa (yum) and flancocho - a chocolate / vanilla-ish (?) cake that was delicious. The prices seemed a bit high, but the food and menu seemed very authentic. 100% Peruvian according to them... Our bill said "Hot and cold" so maybe it's their partner?”

I've come here three times so far and each time I was greeted with a smile. The vegetables are always fresh and the store is always clean. The employees are always patient with me and my kids because we never know what we want. One day I had gotten off of work and got some mud in the store from my boots. They were not angry at all, definitely didn't do it on purpose, but they could see how exhausted and hungry I was at the time. They also have Readers Digest books out to read! The staff is super friendly and helpful and unlike other tea shops, you can get an extra large. But above all that, the tea is sooo good. They have so many great options, including Vietnamese coffee and coffee milk tea and creme brulee cold foam. This is my new favorite tea shop.”

“My experience is similar to other reviews. I went to this wonderful Lebanese store this afternoon for the first time. I was met by two extremely friendly non pushing brothers who own the store. I showed the one a packet of a very pleasant black tea which I thought perhaps was being sold there. The store owner photographed the tea bag and said we don’t sell it here but I will look into stocking it. Then he had me a sample cup of their delicious Lebanese coffee. It may have been the best flavor in coffee that I have ever had!”

The volunteer who took our order was super friendly and you could feel the passion as they spoke about the business and how their mission is to help the less fortunate. Unlike the other location on Little River Turnpike in Alexandria, which usually skimps on the toppings. this Springfield spot does it right. Their toppings are always good and they don't get cheap with the portions. If you want a Pizza Boli's that actually makes great food every single time, I definitely recommend this location!”
