The broth is not watered down and flavorless like some other pho places, the broth is amazingly flavorful and aromatic. “I eat a lot of pho. I mean like every city I visit for business, I eat it at least once if not more. Viet Corner has absolutely one of the best ones I have had. To be honest, the price had my expectations lowered a bit. I needn't worry. The beef pho met my main requirement which is lots of vegetables to dig into.

“Hidden in the university mall shopping center is this well decorated restaurant/cafe. The staff is so friendly and the service is so fast. We had the sea salt coffee which is delicious. You must also try any of their banh mi’s. They offer a meal deal as well. Incredibly affordable!“

I really liked the ambiance and the service. The decor was very cute and there was plenty of room on a Friday night. Everything was clean and the servers were very attentive and nice.

However, the food was okay to me. I got the chicken pho and felt the chicken was very rubbery. The broth was fine, not super flavorful but passable, and the portion was good. They gave plenty of meat!

I also tried to beef salad. The presentation was beautiful and it looked delicious. I was not expecting the greens to taste bitter, so that just might be personal preference. The beef did not have much flavor, but the meat was tender. Portion size was large and plentiful.

Overall, I feel that the presentation of the food and the interior is very tasteful and you can tell the team really put a lot of thought into the designs and layout of the restaurant. The food parallels the interior design in that the portions felt generous, and the dishes very carefully placed on the dishes in an appealing manner. I do think food taste and texture can be improved. Particularly the chicken pho, where the chicken was rubbery. And the beef salad: perhaps more flavor on the beef and less bitter greens.“
