“Let me start by saying, I love, love, love this Bahn Mi place! Throughout the summer, I attended numerous events that were catered by them, and without fail, they left me utterly impressed. The range of options they offer is simply mind-boggling, ensuring that there's something delightful for every palate. The commitment to providing fresh and high-quality food is evident in every bite. The sandwiches themselves are not only bursting with flavors that dance on your taste buds, but they also hold up remarkably well. I've often found myself with leftovers, and keep perfectly for the next day's snack. Furthermore, the Bahn Mis are incredibly portable, making them a top choice for an on-the-go meal. Whether you're headed to work, a picnic, or just exploring the city, this is a fantastic choice. The flavors are delightful and i will definitely be swinging by in person next time I'm in the area“
“My boyfriend and I love this place!! We were in DC for my spring break and we came to eat here almost every single day for lunch. The food is so good and everyone there was so nice :) we highly recommend coming here if you’re in the area!!“
“The pho hit the spot. Nice fried tofu and seared king oyster mushrooms as the protein. Could use some more basil but otherwise great pho and broth. I was one of two diners initially, but the server was exceptional - walking to refill my water glass as soon as I finished it, providing me an extra napkin when I had used my initial supply, and even waving to me on my way out when the restaurant was busier. Would return. One bowl of vegan pho after tax and tip was $25 Updated from previous review on 2024-03-02“
“Discovered this gem while searching for pho, and I'm amazed I hadn't noticed it before. The pho was fresh and flavorful, especially enjoyed the veggie option. The ambiance was relaxed, with enjoyable background music. It's clearly popular, as several guests arrived shortly after me. While I didn't have a drink, it appears they offer a selection of beer and wine only. The spacious layout makes it ideal for groups.“
“I don't come to bars often. This place may be changing that. We were part of a large group. Tons of orders for drinks and goods being placed. The staff was very professional and fast. I'm not sure how they got everything right. The fried Rice with shrimp eggs and corn was delicious. Too many places over cook fried rice. Not an issue here. Run of the mill beers like Corona , Stella and Heineken are quite affordable as well.“
“Today I was in this place, and my first impression when I saw the beef soup I ordered was that it was very good, abundant and light, we also ordered some wings with the sauces on the side, and the frying of the wings was on point, crispy and juicy inside, it has been a very good experience, pleasant music and very good service. We hope to return soon.“
“My boyfriend and I have become regulars at Pho 72! All the dishes we've tried have been consistently very good (the pho broth is amazing — I usually get the Pho Tai Chin Nam) and the family that runs it are friendly and attentive. This is a yummy, reasonably priced, low-key place to grab dinner in Columbia Heights. Highly recommend!“
“I really wanted to love this place. My friend said it was overrated, but I really wanted to try Viet street food which I've had at other places. Definitely work the waffle rolls and the lemongrass tofu. I would NOT recommend the deep fried wings dish since they overfried the chicken wings, so the chicken wings were super dry. We ordered the shrimp entree with rice noodles which was alright. The service was great; they were attentive. It was a cold wintry night, and we were able to get seated immediately. The waitress promptly came over to give us the menu and give us time to order. After that, I felt like our water was empty often. There's a tiki bar downstairs which was bopping. The food felt very expensive for what it was.“
“Great selection of food and huge portions. Food is reasonably priced and extremely tasty. Christina was our server each time we visited over the course of the week and she was absolutely amazing every single time. We thoroughly enjoyed every meal and would happily come back again when we are in Washington. Well worth a visit!!“
“Great food! We love coming here for lunch, the pho and vermicelli meat dishes are delicious the best in DC and you can’t beat the service. Everyone who works there is so kind and always has a smile. Definitely will be back, it is one of our favorite spots!“
“after grabbing my fav coffee at Little Hat Coffee down the street (inside Streets Market) i stopped by for lunch! phonatics pleasantly surprised me! the pho broth was rich and truly delicious. the portions were generous, and i found myself unable to finish my meal. their summer rolls were a great size, four huge half-rolls. the place offers a decent amount of seating, and the staff is really nice and attentive just a heads-up: payments are made at the counter!“
“I recently ordered from Spring and Sprout through DoorDash and was genuinely impressed. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well-presented, even after being delivered. The packaging was practical, ensuring everything arrived in perfect condition. Efficient delivery added to the positive experience. I'd definitely recommend them.Vegetarian options: Plenty and customizable“
“Doi Moi is a Vietnamese fusion street food restaurant with a vibrant and modern interior design. It caters to people of all ages who love Vietnamese cuisine. The dishes served at the restaurant are incredibly delicious, and the drinks are equally impressive. Whether you're looking to share a meal with friends or to grab a drink after work, Doi Moi is the perfect spot.“
