Pho 72 Reviews
My husband just got me Pho72 and summer rolls via DoorDash. Everything tastes good but I don’t have any meatballs or round eye and that’s why I ordered the dish I did. Disappointed I didn’t get everything.
It was a rainy day and a perfect time for pho!
We ordered the pho tai bo vien, grilled pork rice bowl, beef vermicelli, and shrimp spring rolls. Each item was delicious, and tasted crafted and made with love. The pho broth in particular had an incredibly rich and deep flavor. Definitely worth a try!

Pho 72 offers delicious vegetarian pho with generous portions of noodles and tofu, accompanied by carrots, broccoli, and daikon, providing great value for the price. The broth is amazing and made with quality ingredients, perfect for dining in or take-out. The staff is friendly and efficient, creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers. Recently, customers have praised Pho 72 as the best pho in the area, especially noting the flavorful broth and delicious overall taste.
Located in Columbia Heights, this spot stands out among other pho restaurants in the area, making it a highly recommended choice for a tasty meal. The summer rolls with shrimp are appreciated for their delicate rice paper wrappers and generous portions of succulent shrimp, crisp lettuce, and fresh herbs, all enhanced by a balanced peanut dipping sauce. The Banh Mi with lemongrass chicken is tender and fragrant, served inside a crusty, airy baguette with bright pickled vegetables and a creamy pâté spread. The Pho Tai, Nạm, Chín is also noted for its profoundly aromatic broth, layered with the subtle sweetness of long-simmered bone marrow and spices.
The noodles have a perfect springy bite, and the trio of beef cuts—rare steak, tender flank, and well-cooked brisket—each add their own textures and richness. Even when delivered, everything tastes fresh, as if made moments before. Some reviews mention that while the food is fantastic, service could use improvement, as staff may sometimes be occupied in the kitchen. Overall, Pho 72 shows true mastery of Vietnamese cuisine, with refined flavors, high-quality ingredients, and meticulous preparation, making it a top choice for a restaurant-caliber meal at home in Washington, DC.
