We had the best time at KooKoo DC last night. They accommodated a table of 14 for my spouse's birthday and never let us feel like an imposition. The food was so fresh, authentic, and reasonably priced - I did a double take when we got the bill. I even felt like we went all-out with apps, drinks, and desserts!
The owner was also so kind - we just felt so cared for the whole time and can't wait to visit again.

This restaurant is a gem. The food was spectacular and the service was impeccable. The owner, came out to talk to us and made us feel so welcome. I have not eaten much Persian food in my life, but I couldn't believe how good it was.
The prices were excellent for the amount of food that we received. And the presentation of the food was outstanding. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that is hungry and wants to receive excellent food and service.
