“I got a take out ordered of two large pho noodle soups for about $15 each. Small is only about a dollar cheaper. We ordered take out and the ingredients were easy to reheat and re-plate.The meat was still a bit red but was able to be further cooked once we reheated the broth. They thankfully pull all the sauces and garnishes to the side rather than other places that put them directly in the noodles so customization was a bit easier. Picking up my order was very easy as well and they responded to my order and prepared it very quickly.I’d totally love to go back and eat in store some time and try some of their appetizers as well!“
“My 3 year old and I wanted to pho so I searched the closest to where we were. This place came up and it was great. We both had lemonades, they were refreshing. We had crispy rolls with the peanut sauce and chicken pho. Everything was spot on and the service was quick and catering. We’ll be back if we’re in the“
“Food taste fresh. Fast and good service.Summer rolls are a little on the smaller side but still taste fresh. Seafood pho is delicious! You have the option to choose spice level in selected dishes. So far, the best Vietnamese coffee I had in a while. Meaning, it doesn’t taste like I’m chugging melted coffee ice cream. Would recommend to request for less ice. Will come back again to try other dishes for sure!“
“The absolute best bun bue hue and the area. Soup has very good authentic flavor and very good portions. Bun bue hue did not disappoint. Maybe the best bun bue hue I've had in the area. It was my first time here found them on uber eats and went to pick it up cause it was cheaper. Can't wait to try there all beef traditional pho. I've literally been to a majority of pho places in there area this was is top quality. The restaurant name bistro speaks for itself.“
“Ordered off the lunch specials menu. Good selection, fast service. I like that they have tofu as on of their protein options. Tasty green curry and veggie spring rolls. Companion enjoyed chicken pad thai.Vegetarian options: Tofu is listed as one of the proteins-you don't have to ask for special prep of a dish without meat.Parking: Very limited parking midweek at 1pm.“
“I went to this place for my birthday and I have to say that it was a great experience. My family and I shared the Bún bò Huế (spicy noodles), hoành thánh chiên (fried wontons), Gà xào húng quế (Thai basil chicken), and Bánh hỏi đặc biệt (Vermicelli platter). The food was so good, my favorite was the Bánh hỏi đặc biệt. The owner went around to every table and checked up on everybody and our waters were being refilled constantly. Everyone was really nice. They don't typically do anything special for birthdays, but the owner gave me a free mango sticky rice!! Even after we paid and started to leave, the owner came out to us and recommended the ice cream place next door. I really appreciate family businesses and loved to see that traditional foods are still very accessible to people with dietary restrictions. I am 100% visiting again.Dietary restrictions: Many of their dishes can be made vegan easily and they have a glutton free menu.“
“Best vegan restaurant in Washington DC. I like spending my outing time there. It’s an amazing place the staff are nice and welcoming. I prefer eating mom’s tofu & brown rice with a mango smoothie when I go there. Please try that I am sure you will love it.“
“What a surprise! I walk past this place all the time. After reading the reviews I stopped in. whoa. Nice extensive menu, friendly staff. Quick service. Very tasty and flavorful Vietnamese food. I noticed people at the next table didn’t finish their pho. Hmmm, something wrong, I wondered? Then my bowl of noodles with beef flank steak came out. Delicious. In spite of my good intentions, I couldn’t finish it all! I can hear my mother in the background berating me about the starving kids in Biafra, etc. Hey! I’m 70 years old and still hear that. We had the summer rolls and the sausage rolls for appetizers. They were very good as expected. My wife had grilled chicken over rice and lots of fresh veggies to mix in as desired. This has been inserted near the top of our favorite restaurants list.“
“Little Saigon in Falls Church near Eden Center is a gem. Upon entering, the cleanliness and charm of the venue, adorned with captivating photos of Saigon in the 60s, immediately stand out. The friendly staff creates a welcoming atmosphere, and it's evident that this is a family restaurant. The chicken pho is a standout, ranking among the best in the area, and complemented perfectly by the refreshing freshly squeezed lemonade.“
“The meal was exquisite. The dishes were well presented, creative and delicious as well as showing upon rather generous, dare we say it, North American portions. Our server (and others passing) was/were fantastic but we did sit at the bar and not at a table. This was a choice that we consciously made because we were celebrating our 19th anniversary sans children. Intimacy. A few reviews complain about price or the lack of selections on the menu. All we can say is: post-COVID prices have gone up significantly but that is true for everything that we, as a community, consume today. It might be harder to stomach the price increases for discretionary expenses like a fancy meal. In any event, please do not expect 1980s or even 2019 prices. Secondly, yep, it is pricey, but it is worth every centime. The "limited" menu is what really good restaurants do, not to gouge you, but to spoil you with a core set of dishes that will tantalite the palate of almost every true gourmand. NUE hits the mark rather well. Finally, one kink in the armor, is how food is served today and how waitstaff interact with customers. Partly caused by the clash of generations, e.g., servers and the served may have 30 to 40 years between them, partly because due to COVID the new wave apparently did not get to learn from the OGs who did not return to the hospitality business sector, and is likely partly due to the pace of life in the DMV as practiced by folks with maybe too much money. That service process part needs to be ironed-out, but it is not just an issue at NUE, but at most, if not all, DMV fine food establishments. We, for one, will be back to NUE very soon. We just need to save up for it and we won't have to wait a year.“
“Amazing food and hard working owner as well. Super friendly staff, food is always fresh and super tastey. The garlic fried rice and the Mac and cheese is so delicious. Definitely recommend coming here if you want a good meal! Great portions too for the price“
“Just looking at the picture I took has me carving for more. I got garden tofu roll and garlic steak over rice. The fried egg is not included by the way. You pay extra if you want it. The meal was nicely proportioned. Steak cooked perfectly in my opinion. Come with a salad. I demolished this this food. Love it! Quick service. I got my meal less than 15 minutes. Can’t wait to go back for me!“
“New favorite Vietnamese place. Their BBQ Pork Bahn Mi is a revelation. The tangy crunch of the pickled vegetables contrasts beautifully with the pork and the crunchy baguette. They have a Pick 2 Deal that puts Panera to shame. SO much food, for an incredible value. They also have lots of great quick grab entrees (dumplings, spring rolls etc), if you’re looking for a quality add-on. Will definitely be back.“
“We gave Mari Sushi Bar and Lounge in Herndon a try for my husband’s birthday, and it is now my favorite sushi spot! Everything was incredible-fresh, flavorful, and filling. Hands down the best dynamite roll I’ve had, and even the fish I usually pass over were so good I kept going back to them. The sauces complemented the fish perfectly, I highly recommend giving them a try.“
“Wow, what a beautiful restaurant and the food was so delicious. I love the decor and plants. The staff is outstanding. Their attention to detail is amazing. I loved my dish. I had vegetarian crêpe and a garden roll for an appetizer. Both were delicious. Also, the Vietnamese coffee was yummy.“
“I went in to order food to go and it was so fast, maybe 10 mins tops before I got my food and was headed on my way. A few other reviews said the people working here have limited English, but the woman who took my order had no problem chatting with me while I waited - she was super nice and welcoming! The menu has an English side and a Vietnamese side that match up, so you can just show them the number of what you want if you ever run into anyone with limited English. I'm not familiar with many Vietnamese dishes, so I'm excited to come back and keep trying more since the tofu dish I got was SO good!Dietary restrictions: The whole menu is vegan“
“Why hasn’t anyone raved about their Bo la lot? This place smells like heaven when you walk by it. So much that is how I got drawn in. The beef is so juicy and tender. And the sauce that comes with it is delicious, it has hints of ginger and garlic. Definitely a must try. I grab a tray to go every time I am in Eden Center.“
“This establishment is located in a former Pho restaurant, and I am pleased to dine here because it offers both Vietnamese pho and dim sum. I believe that these dishes cannot go wrong. Additionally, I am very satisfied with the service, and the cleanliness of the place is impeccable.“
“Came here for pho but was pleasantly surprised with the empanadas! They were so good ? the pho was average. Nothing really special, thought it was good but wasn’t the best I ever had. The green apple boba was good.I would like to come back and try something else. The ambience is nice, lots of seating on a Sunday evening.“
“My family of 6 adults and one toddler went here on a Sunday Night. The food was absolutely delicious. One of the most tastiest and flavorful pho broths I’ve had in all of Northern Virginia. I got the crushed ginger (P2)The restaurant is small, but decorated beautifully with colorful lanterns on the ceiling as well as a beautiful cherry blossom tree in the corner. The only note I would make is I would prefer if there was music playing a *little* bit louder because it seemed too quiet inside. Our server went above and beyond to accommodate for our toddler, interacting with him and even giving him a quarter of a fresh avocado that was left over from a smoothie he made.I would definitely be coming back here because the pho outranks other pho places in the northern Virginia area.“
“The only Com Tam Thit Nuong I've had that's better than this is my own Mom's cooking. I've been coming here since I was a kid, and now I take my own kids here. You absolutely can't beat the grilled meats with the runny egg on top ? sooooo good!“
“Ordered shrimp garden rolls : they were pretty tasty. Little bit of wilted lettuce but good overall all. Fresh. A- Ordered shrimp fried rice : nothing special but good. C Ordered an everything pho (non seafood) : the soup came out Luke warm.. I was expecting a big bowl of "steamy" pho and received a bowl of disappointment... was sad.. D- Ordered the 76-86$seafood platter (forgot price) : Served on a huge tray. Again... food wasn't pipping hot as expected. Lobster was a tad bit rubbery. Shrimp were all small.. crab legs were average and both other crabs I ate were just ok.. meh. Everything was DRENCHED in garlic. I love garlic but damnnnn, I like to taste seafood too. Crawdads produce little meat. D Service was nice . A Overall sadly I will not be dining back at crabby noodles. Perhaps in a year or so I'll try again. "D" grade..“
“I really enjoyed chatting with the owner, she has a wonderful personality. The restaurant is very neat and clean, and I absolutely love their house Chili Oil. The Bánh Xèo was very tasty, so was the Pho, but the Bun Bo Hue, had the same broth as the pho, that was disappointing.“
“I've discovered another favorite local pho spot here! Perfect for a lunch break, especially if you're in Reston, VA. The food and boba here are fantastic. My go-to's are their beef Phở and grilled pork Bánh Mì. Today I tried their weekly special, Bún Riêu, and it totally hit the spot. Will definitely be returning.“
“This Vietnamese restaurant boasts a modern decor complemented by traditional twists, delectable dishes, and attentive service from the owner.Parking: Locates inside Eden Center where it has a big parking lot, though it gets really crowded on the weekends.“
“The service is quick and on top of it. Not very big and can get busy. Do alot of carryout. The small pho ga is delicious and plenty of food. That is the go to. Also like the summer or spring rolls to start out. The rice dishes are good as well. Definite place to visit for pho in Burke!!“
“The food is absolutely delicious and authentic! Highly recommend this place. Some recommendations for improvement I have for the owner: 1/Update the menu by adding symbols on spicy food/levels, 2/Have a sign 'wait here to be seated' so new customers understand they are not being ignored, 3/Have a sign at the staff table saying 'pay here' to clarify that customer need to go up there and ask to pay.“
“I’ve been on the hunt for authentic, mouth drooling bun rieu and the quest has been lackluster until I found this place. Walked in and immediately greeted by a lovely auntie, the owner and chef. She told me it’s a one woman show, and I can tell she put a lot of love in her cooking the moment my bowl came out! The crab meatball was massive and you can tell she used lump crab meat! There was also a unique herb that I haven’t seen provided. I can tell she doesn’t skimp on quality! Honestly, the prices were reasonable given the portion and quality.Even the complimentary iced tea provided was top shelf! It was pandan infused green tea that she said she imported from Vietnam from her personal family. Wow wow I’ll be back to support her!“
“Currently our favorite place for pho. There are so many pho places in NoVA but always hard to find good ones. So glad we found this place. We have been coming here to dine or ordering DoorDash from here almost every week for the last couple of months. Fresh ingredients, flavorful broth, good quality meat, always friendly service, competitive price, rich serving size and probably the cleanest and modern pho restaurant I have been to. What more could you ask for?“
“The food was very good and the service is speedy. Nice menu with some interesting choices. I had the rice noodle bowl with chicken and spring roll. I've had this dish many times at many other Vietnamese spots. This one was very good. Too many bean sprouts in my opinion. But, I don't like bean sprouts. Great sour/spicy fish sauce. The chicken was not dry and had good flavor. I will go back to try some other things.“
“Their banh cuon is freshly made and delicious. Staffs are super friendly. We also often order take out trays for family parties. It’s much easier to park in the back lot of Eden center and they are the first store from one of the back entrances.“
“This spot is legit when it comes to Vietnamese food. It is a little pricier than the usual spots, but it is well worth it, and you can taste the quality of ingredients they use.The service is awesome, and they are very efficient.I love watching the Vietnamese cooking shows and the fish tank while I enjoy a meal.Try the Salted Plum Soda, it's my fav, I always get it to go for later, as I am so full after my meal.“
“Really solid food all around. Pho is always a hot topic for what place has the best, but this place is incredibly good. If it helps, I'm Vietnamese as well.Rice dishes, fried spring rolls, and fresh summer rolls (excuse my calling them by their weird English names) are all also great!Additionally, we keep returning for that and their great service and attentiveness and patience since we had kiddos, as well. Being kid friendly is a huge plus for us!Vegetarian options: Vietnamese food often has vegetarian options that are solid, and this place has them listed.Parking: Shared parking lot space with the neighboring businesses.Kid-friendliness: They're welcoming, helpful, and patient. Because they're really friendly about it all is why we return and tip so well.“
“Super homey feel with great food! Food came out super fresh and hot. We ordered the Mi Quang and Banh Hoi Nha Trang Dac Biet and it was amazing. Food had a nice and smokey char- my favorite ?The viet iced coffee is strong and not watered down“
“Dear Diary - great variety of Vietnamese food to try. The portions are very generous and all are prepared well with a lot of good flavors. The menu can be overwhelming, but give yourself some time to try various things over time and I would think that you will not be disappointed. Their staff are friendly and accommodating. Definitely a place to try if you want to avoid the crowd at Eden Center location“
