I asked my Vietnamese barber where I should go for authentic Vietnamese food, and he pointed this out to me. I'm glad he did, and have visited twice. The location is in a non-descript tiny strip mall. The inside isn't particularly fancy either. That said, this place has the goods - and it's fairly inexpensive. Pho Hai Duong is a fantastic spot in Annandale for fresh Vietnamese flavors, and the folks that run it have a very welcoming energy!Their vegetarian options are fantastic, especially the Bánh Xèo Chay, which is a delightfully crispy crepe filled with tofu and veggies that you wrap in lettuce and dip into a deliciate and savory yet sweet sauce. Came here on Easter Sunday for some pho. My friend and I got the same beef noodle pho special, crispy spring rolls, and an order of wings. The pho was excellent, and the spring rolls were hot, crispy, and tasty! The wings could use some improvements, but they were crispy. The service was friendly and attentive. I'll be back for more!
