“Wowowow so I've been to Chuy's many a time. But this location in particular is awesome. I made a mistake on my end ordering through their online portal and it went to a different location. I came in and waited at the front for my order until a staff member walked up to me. I regret not reading his name tag bc he was very helpful and kind. He asked me about my order and I told him I had already been helped and was just waiting on my pickup order. He went to the back looking for my order and informed me it wasn't there. I showed him my receipt and he notified me I mistakenly ordered at Fairfax. Whoopsie daisy, I was willing to go drive there, but lucky for me, he already brought out a manager who had contacted Fairfax to cancel my order. I reordered my food, and then within LITERALLY 5 minutes I had my order. It was amazing service.Like I said, I regret not getting the waiters name. He has reddish blonde hair, tall (like 6"), blue eyes, and overall a gentleman.The front desk people were hilarious too and kept me entertained while I waited.“
“The food was good, but my reason for writing a review revolves around the professional and selfless service of employee “Golam”. I came in on a late Friday afternoon and he was the only one present in the restaurant. He was taking orders and then immediately running back to the kitchen to perform food preparation. I did ask him where the other employees were and he said two had called in and couldn’t make it. I was amazed at the professionalism of his work ethic and attitude. Despite being the lone person on shift, he did the job of essentially three without complaining, and in an expedited manner. People like this need to be recognized and I hope management takes notice of this review.“

The fajitas come out sizzling out, and the steak is actually of great quality and comes topped with melted butter for an added taste. Recently, I've been binging their Birria Tacos which are very tasty, and comes with great sauces. Service: the service is absolutely fantastic. I was able to chat with the owner and he is a very down to earth and authentic himself, great to support our local small businesses! Ambience: It is very clean and they do a great job of spacing our guests when it's not peak hours. They play great music, and the main area can even get lively as the night progresses. “There’s street parking which you sometimes have to pay for but there might be a parking lot too. Just not sure. Service is great in a lively, comfortable setting. The food is even better. I tried this location partly because it’s closer to my home but also for a new experience. I was not disappointed. We went there for an early lunch and to beat the crowd. Chips and salsa were great. I had the chorizo con huevos which was delicious and so much I couldn’t finish it all. My wife had the mojarra frita with shrimps on top with a butter garlic sauce. She raved about it.“

“I had previously reviewed this restaurant on yelp and the review has somehow been removed. Sad, because it was a 5-star review with a photo of the amazing birria torta that I ordered. It was perfectly toasted on the outside with a soft middle like it should be. And the flavor was amazing. That was my first visit. I've been back several times for takeout and dine in and I have never been disappointed. Last weekend, I met a friend for dine-in and was disappointed to see the restaurant was empty on a Saturday night. I want to stand outside waving a big sign to get people to stop in and see what they are missing. This last time, my friend ordered a taco salad -- all the ingredients were so fresh and the taco shell outside was perfectly crispy (muy importante for the salad). She and I both ordered a margarita -- which we both found to be pretty terrific. And the service is pretty outstanding. I hope this doesn't wane as the success of the restaurant increases. The staff is friendly and helpful and obviously engaged in the success of the business. I really do think the location is a deterrent. I've seen more than one restaurant fail in this location in the last few years. The inside is festive and welcoming and is a sharp contrast to the outside which is an easily-missed corner lot with a vape shop. Don't let the outside fool you -- just go! And support the presence of this full service dine-in restaurant in walking distance for Potomac Yard neighbors!“

“It's new, it's good, it's worth visiting. [fin] Ok, jk jk, I'll write more. Let's cover food, service, and ambiance in that order. Food: Solid to very good. Of the el arriero ny steak, lomo saltado, and molcajete ... the steak and molcajete win. Sadly the lomo saltado, while quite decent, doesn't hold a candle to Super Chicken in Tysons. Ok but here's the important bit: THE CHIPS. The chips are great. Not only are they thin and crispy, they're well salted AND served with both WARM and COLD salsas. I never thought anyone would do as well as Uncle Julios for chips, but ... well, Guapos does. Service: Ironically we've been twice and we had the same server both times. And she was excellent. Super friendly, quick with requests, and checked in frequently. Not only that, they clearly operate as a team and several folks came by during the meal to ensure drinks were filled, napkins were in order ... and shockingly, as we were wrapping up, someone wiped the crumbs off the table. I mean that's a white-tablecloth steakhouse thing... right? Apparently it's a Guapos thing too. Ambiance: Fun to hip. The first time we were there was opening week and the live band was both entertaining and, uh, loud. Look, we're fogies, we complain about this err ... stuff. The second time we went it was much quieter and we were able to enjoy our meals AND our conversation. The decor is pretty great, the table arrangement spacious, and the place was packed, nevertheless. I'll close out with parking. It's a big lot, and it gets crowded ... but we found spots nevertheless on a busy night. Looking for Mexican? Yeah, I'd go here again. No arm-twisting required.“

We had a great time with our server (I honestly don't remember her name because she left before we finished) but the best experience was with our backup server Phillipe. He took such great care of us, made us laugh, seriously took our first time from a 5 to a 10. Make sure you order the short rib tacos, the carnitas de pato and the hibiscus guava margarita. They’re not shy about the chips (other locations give you like five chips), staff are always friendly and helpful.The bad: My only complaint is very small. They advertise that they close at 10pm. However, on multiple occasions I have tried to grab some food between 9:30-9:45 and the doors are locked and they will signal that they are closed. I’m not taking away a star because the staff have explained it’s due to either staff shortage or food shortage, so not their fault.I do still highly recommend this Moe’s location.“
