Came during happy hour, and was pleasantly surprised at the prices and options they had. Loved the frozen lime margarita (a must), with the chicken quesadillas and the guacamole and salsa to share with the table. Loved the pupusas, and the best thing about this restaurant is that the food is always fresh and hot! We loved the tres leches and the churros and ice cream.
I decided kind of last minute to have catering on my last day of clinical for twenty people. I had the opportunity to work with Pablo and he was phenomenal. I had never tried La Campesina before that day so it was a risk but it was 100% worth it in the end. EVERYONE loved it! He brought everything to the fifth floor and organized the table beautifully (being 7 months pregnant this was a big deal for me). He was so efficient and friendly! Little hidden in plain sight gem of a restaurant. Food is consistently flavorful, good sized portions, and low turnover in staff. I don't drink much but every time I go many people talk about the margaritas.
