“We admittedly did not pay attention to the hours of operation and came after 2:15 (they close at 3 for a break prior to dinner hours) with a party of 8.... thankfully we were the only party, otherwise we could have been turned away. But the sweet woman seated us and let us know nicely. We did our best to eat quickly and respect their closing time so that we could come back shamefree lol!

The experience, service, and food are fantastic!

Stopped by last night and had a great experience. This is a family-run halal spot and you can really feel the hospitality when you walk in. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and the service was great. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly.

If you’re looking for a solid halal chicken and burger spot with great customer service, this place is definitely worth checking out. I’ll definitely be coming back.”

“As a critic who professionally rates places I came here to relax after a long day. The atmosphere is very relaxing inside the building and my whole experience was very easy going. I had talked to a employee named “David” over the phone and he had made the process of ordering very easy. When I asked for specials he informed me of them right away.

When I came in he greeted me and simply asked me to sign a receipt. Once I did that he brought me my food and it was done at that. The food was phenomenal and I loved their pizza. I can’t wait to return to try more. Thank you Paisanos.”

“Lil Cow Cafe Bistro, located in Rolling Valley Shopping Center in Burke, offers a cozy, farmhouse-like atmosphere with large windows that flood the cafe with sunlight. It serves fresh, high-quality food, especially sandwiches, with a diverse menu, friendly staff, and charming fall decorations. We loved the large logo in the center. The coffee, brewed with La Colombe beans, was excellent—robust and not watered down.

We were delighted to find perfect sandwiches this morning. You can choose your bread from Whole Wheat, Soft White, Wrap, Sourdough, or Ciabatta. We highly recommend:
1. Southwest Wrap, containing grilled chicken, avocado, spinach, tomatoes, onions, provolone cheese, and Chipotle Aioli. All ingredients were fresh, tasty, and the sauce complemented everything nicely.
2. Gourmet Bacon Chicken Cheesesteak sandwich, made with grilled chicken breast, crispy bacon, and cheese on an Italian Hoagie roll, and served with French fries. The ingredients were fresh, the sauce excellent, and the bread light and not dense, resulting in a satisfying sandwich.”

“On 12/4/25 my wife and I visited Anita's for lunch. It was not our first visit, but it dawned on us during this visit that this restaurant had many of the features which we were looking for for a large family gathering on 12/10/25 following an outdoor funeral/burial in Fairfax: a separable part of the restaurant for 30-40 attendees, a large immediately adjacent parking lot, a location already familiar to many of the attendees, an in-house bar, an expandable staff to service our group, an ability for attendees to order from Anita's regular menu and reasonable prices. Our recommendation to choose Anita's was accepted by leaders of our group, our choice was papered with Anita's catering staff and notices of the selection with address and directions were prepared for our group. Our burial ceremony was reduced in length due to the cold weather so that we set out for Antia's earlier than planned. We alerted Anita's of our early arrival. Everything went exceedingly well. Our sporadically arriving group was seated, menus distributed, drink and then food orders were taken and food started to come out of the kitchen. More than adequate supplemental staff had been arranged to serve us by Anita's. Payment arrangements were quickly made with Anita's and, under the circumstances, everyone appeared to have had a memorable visit. I apologize for the length and detail of this review, but I thought that the background of our visit to this remarkable restaurant would better put into context the circumstances of our visit and our appreciation and thanks to Anita's for its handling of the situation.”

“We love Beijing Tokyo and come here (or order delivery) at least once a month! My personal favorites are the Beef Sticks and Jumbo Shrimp in Creamy Sauce — so good every time. My kiddo always goes for the Wonton Soup, and their fried rice and sushi are also excellent. You really can’t go wrong here.

They’re also very family-friendly, which makes dining in easy and enjoyable with kids. Delivery always arrives hot and fresh, and when we eat at the restaurant, the service is consistently great. It’s one of our go-to spots and we highly recommend it!”

“I keep forgetting CSC is there and need to be better about patronizing there. Its always a hit and always enjoy what we order. We were there for a friend's birthday after dinner treat and I ordered something off the menu 'Rocky Road' and it was perfect with mini marshmallows.

They are always friendly and the portions are big and generous. What a treasure to have in Burke.

“Incredible experience we get one hour lunch most places do not let us order in advance so we have to go order and waste a good 20 to 25 minutes for food and then quickly shove it down and then ask for a check. This place they let us order an hour in advance so when we get there to dine in the food is ready. The staff is extremely nice and courteous. The food is the main star everything I have tried here taste absolutely perfect The spice level you asked for you get they are very conscious about spices. I've gotten red curry green curry drunken noodles and pad Thai along with other appetizers and they are always delicious the side dipping sauces are delicious please try this place if you get a chance you will not regret it and the prices are decent.”

Hunan Cafe in Burke is my go-to spot! The food is always fresh, portions are generous, and the flavors never disappoint. I’m a spice lover, and they always nail my extra, extra, extra spicy requests.

Service is fast, the staff is friendly, and the restaurant is clean and simple. Prices are super reasonable, and they don’t skimp on the protein.

The only downside? They’re closed on Mondays—but that just makes Tuesday taste even better. 😋”
