“Honeygrow was bright, inviting, and a great first experience. Beverly was super helpful and friendly, even though they were closing in 15 minutes. I tried the chicken shawarma and garlic butter chicken — the shawarma wasn’t really spicy to me, more of a sour/pickled flavor, but the garlic butter chicken was delicious. I also liked the digital menu with pictures and that they offer samples. I’ll definitely be back to try the banana pudding.“

“This place is a true local gem. Food is of very high quality, and everything is consistently cooked to perfection. Their consistency is actually really impressive - I’ve never been disappointed by a single thing, and I’ve eaten A LOT of their food. But everything is so good, so I haven’t really made my way outside of the same few items from their menu. The difference is that the staff actually care about their customers, and take pride in their food. It’s not so common these days, and is a pleasant surprise. “We went for Sunday brunch yesterday and our server was CJ. The bottomless mimosas were served in coup glasses and were plentiful (limit of 5 per person 👍🏻). I had the Huevos Rancheros which were served with breakfast potatoes and the order was big enough to share. The service was quick and thoughtful. I’d definitely recommend Drapers for Sunday brunch. The lunch and dinner menu looked interesting and I’m sure we’ll be back. A corner jewel in old towne Fairfax.“

Because of the chemo, he has changes in taste and unexpected issues with food textures. “Last night was my husband’s and my first time dining here, and it truly left an impression. One of the first things we loved was the restaurant’s commitment to giving back to the community. As soon as you walk in, there’s a sign explaining how meals are donated to local women’s shelters and how guests and staff can pay it forward by purchasing meals for those in need. Anyone facing a tough time can simply take a ticket from the wall for a prepaid meal such a thoughtful and meaningful concept.

Our server was absolutely phenomenal (I wish I remembered her name! -- She had long red wavy hair). She took the time to walk us through the menu, shared her personal favorites, and recommended several must-try tacos. Let me just say… she did not miss!

Every single bite was bursting with flavor. We tried the birria, Havana, Rus & Gus, and Peruvian chicken tacos, along with the street corn salad and veggies on the side and everything was incredible. From the food to the service to the heart behind the restaurant, this place checks all the boxes.

Adding feta cheese, cucumber, and Kalamata olives created an outstanding combination of flavors. Everything was well balanced and delicious.

On top of that, Edwin, the team member who assisted me at the register, was extremely kind, professional, and genuinely great. Excellent customer service, and thank you for the recommendation of the pita chips—they were a perfect addition to the meal.
