Very good food. Prime rib was ordered by one in our party. Even though the steaks are "ala carte", the steak looked very lonely on the plate: "a slab of meat on a plate". I do think they could break down & put it over even a tiny bit of mashed potatoes.
We've been to TRIO multiple times, so it's not a surprise that I've given it good marks. I think that it has one of the best bars (in other words best bartenders) in the DMV area. One recommendation for TRIO would be around gluten-free menu items. Not only are there very few gluten-free options, but those that are GF are not indicated as such on the menu and the servers do not seem to have been briefed on which, if any, items are GF.

Trio is always our go-to spot for an exceptional meal! The staff is professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. The food is top-notch (some of the best crab cakes and steaks we've had). They have a great covered patio or a cozy/comfortable inside. Would highly recommend!
