I never heard much buzz around Draper's but the building looked nice so wanted to check it out after seeing they were serving brunch.Walking inside I was kindly greeted by a host. There are large windows that give the place a lot of natural light which makes you feel a little more energetic.The service was great. The waitress was kind and gave us good recommendations. I love supporting local restaurants. As you can see from my many reviews I rarely give a low score. I’m giving a 3 because the staff were swamped and I believe they just had too much going on. My party of 2 ordered the calamari to start, Cavatapi Chicken as an entre and Ahi Tune Wellington as an entre (along with a side of mashed potatoes)… calamari was okay just wish it was a little spicier due to the description. Party of four on Christmas Eve. Very open vibrant vibe in the bar area with open dining room seating around the bar. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We share the fried oysters and the calamari which were good. They oysters were a bit heavy on the breading as it masked the flavor of the oyster.
