“I recently visited Emily's Snow Cones & Fruit located at 7708 Backlick Rd in Springfield, VA and had a fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm and friendly smiles from the staff.Firstly, the variety of flavors offered at Emily's Snow Cones & Fruit was truly impressive. They had an extensive menu that catered to all tastes and preferences. Whether you're a fan of classic flavors like cherry and blue raspberry or prefer more exotic options like mango or cotton candy, there is something for everyone here. The quality of the snow cones was exceptional. They were perfectly shaved, resulting in a fluffy and refreshing treat that was incredibly satisfying on a hot summer day. Each cone was generously topped with a flavorful syrup that added just the right amount of sweetness. What made my visit even more enjoyable was the beautiful outdoor seating area. It was clean, well-maintained, and provided a comfortable space to sit and enjoy my snow cone. The colorful umbrellas and vibrant decor added a fun and lively atmosphere to the overall experience.Lastly, I cannot praise the staff enough for their exceptional customer service. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that my visit was pleasant. The staff members were eager to offer recommendations based on my flavor preferences and made sure that I had everything I needed.Overall, my visit to Emily's Snow Cones & Fruit was outstanding. The wide array of flavors, high-quality snow cones, inviting outdoor seating area, and exceptional customer service make this place a must-visit for anyone craving a refreshing treat. “Lived next to here for years and never thought of stopping by until some rave reviews from coworkers and friends. Finally stopped in for a quick dinner and my husband and I were pleasantly surprised. The place felt very clean and the ladies working there were extremely helpful, sweet and patient while we looked over the menu with questions. We tried several dishes including the Pollo Guisado, pupusas, chicharrón and baleadas. Everything was good to great! Felt like Spanish soul food, home cooking. Husband went back the next morning for tamales which were good.“
“This is a typical pupuseria, nothing fancy. I’ll be honest, I have never dined in and I don’t think I ever will, but they do have the best pupusas in the area. They always seem to be out of horchata, but I’m rating it solely based on the pupusas. Their chicharrones are good too.Vegetarian options: Pupusa de queso o loroco“
“Im so happy to have found this place !! They have amazing food , everything was fresh and absolutely delicious! Best Tacos around the area , so flavorful. The Staff was extremely welcoming and nice. 1000/10 will definitely be coming back !!“
“Came during happy hour, and was pleasantly surprised at the prices and options they had. Loved the frozen lime margarita (a must), with the chicken quesadillas and the guacamole and salsa to share with the table. Loved the pupusas, and the best thing about this restaurant is that the food is always fresh and hot! We loved the tres leches and the churros and ice cream.“
“We did carry out so I can't be totally sure of the atmosphere but it seemed nice. The food is fantastic, and I say run over to get some! Absolutely everything we tried was beyond fantastic. $30 total including tip for two people, and we had some leftovers for the next day.Dietary restrictions: I am gluten free and the pupusas are GF, plus so much else. I have a ton of choices here. Also if you are vegetarian there are lots of good options.“
“La Unión restaurant is one of the best in the area. The food is always on point and the service is top notch. I usually order the shrimp dishes (camarones entomatados or camarones en crema). Yum! Really, anything you order will not disappoint. Run, don’t walk! 10/10Kid-friendliness: La Unión is family and kid friendly! Great atmosphere to bring the entire family to share memories while enjoying great food.“
“Great tacos. Got thier lengua and birria. They have some delicious leches cake and pastries for those who like dessert after. I'm definitely coming back here to try their breakfast. You won't find a more authentic Honduran meal in the area.“
“There’s street parking which you sometimes have to pay for but there might be a parking lot too. Just not sure. Service is great in a lively, comfortable setting. The food is even better. I tried this location partly because it’s closer to my home but also for a new experience. I was not disappointed. We went there for an early lunch and to beat the crowd. Chips and salsa were great. I had the chorizo con huevos which was delicious and so much I couldn’t finish it all. My wife had the mojarra frita with shrimps on top with a butter garlic sauce. She raved about it.“
“The ladies greet you with warm energy as soon as you come in. I was craving a traditional pan de pollo so per my fathers recommendation, I came to try it.AAAAAMMMAAAAZINGGG!!!You can choose whether you want your chicken baked or fried. Everything about the sandwich was perfect. Doesn’t come with a side but it’s a huge sandwich.Worth it ❤️❤️“
