“This is the 1st time back since the pandemic. The atmosphere is quiet. The dining room is super clean. I was promptly seated and my order taken. The staff was very attentive without hovering too much. I had the shrimp pad Thai, kanoom jeeb, and the spring rolls. The apps came out quickly and piping hot. The pad thai followed a few minutes later. I have always enjoyed coming here. Would return all the time if I could. My only issue is the spring rolls could have been drained more (better). Will come back again and more often to try new things.Parking: The lot can fill up quickly as there are other businesses.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: There are 2 handicap spaces in front of the restaurant.“
“- the pad see ew was very good. It was fresh and had a really good flavor.- staff were friendly.- service was quick.- place was clean and organized.- inside was nice and quiet with a good atmosphere.- plenty of parking.- overall a good first experience here.“
“I think this is my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. I stumbled upon this place last year and have ordered a few times. My go to is the pad see ew with chicken and the thai dumplings. Everytime, the noodles are cooked perfectly. Everything is seasoned well. The restaurant is clean, nothing fancy, more than suitable for dining in. I'm only giving 4 stars because they mixed regular broccoli with chinese broccoli in my pad see ew“
“Ordered off the lunch specials menu. Good selection, fast service. I like that they have tofu as on of their protein options. Tasty green curry and veggie spring rolls. Companion enjoyed chicken pad thai.Vegetarian options: Tofu is listed as one of the proteins-you don't have to ask for special prep of a dish without meat.Parking: Very limited parking midweek at 1pm.“
“I went to the Falls Church location YEARS ago. This location is even better. They have Thai and Laotian food, but you want to stick to the Laotian menu.I had the Siin Savanh to start and then the Naem Khao Thadaeu salad. Both were outstanding. I'm looking forward to going back“
“Putting the edible in incredible. This place is amazing. It's not a large restaurant, but it has a laid back atmosphere, a friendly staff, and delicious food. My wife and I have been here a couple times already, getting something new each time, and we haven't had a bad dish yet. I won't even try to recommend a dish because everything is delicious. We'll definitely be back, and I suggest you check it out if you haven't already.“
“I enjoyed the ambiance, most of the food and choice of music. I did not particularly care for the crab rangoon. I tasted all cream cheese and green onion and could not taste any crab meat at all. The mocktail mango tango was just ok; It was a really sweet juice. I wanted to get a full experience to be able to take pictures of the way my food was brought out on the pink holding trays because this was my first time; but I was not given that option because my food was brought out in someone's hands. As I looked around, everyone else had the pink carrying tray left on their table, so I was a little upset about that. All in all, I would come back because the appetizer chili wings were good, and so was my shrimp and chicken pineapple curry fried rice.Parking: The parking is a little scarce because it is next to some high volume restaurants and businesses for example Chipotle, rent-a-, center and quickway.Kid-friendliness: The music isn't loud or vulgar, the place is nicely decorated and kids can sit and enjoy a nice Thai meal.Wheelchair accessibility: It's all on one level and the chairs can be taken away to accommodate a person within a wheelchair.“
“Sura, what a vibe! This spot has aesthetics on lock, and the menu is a work of art. The real showstopper? The “Special Chili Noodles”—a total game-changer, a must-try. We also got in on the secret menu with the Softshell Crab—so much garlic and green onion goodness, it was fire. The calamari was legit, perfect portion, and not greasy at all, major win. Now, the quail egg wontons, not my jam. Cool concept, but the execution didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Overall, Sura sets the stage for a killer date night or a spot to mix it up with a variety of flavors. It was a vibe!“
“I absolutely love this place! The staffs are all really nice and helpful, and the food is always sooo delicious! Everything taste authentic and fresh. You can tell that the chef loves the food she cooks. I highly recommend the pork strips with sticky rice. Will definitely eat here again. ?“
“Solid tastes in a place that I’ve never realized was there. It’s in a strip mall area so not that noticeable. There’s free parking although it’s sometimes hard to find a spot. Staff are very friendly and the setting is nice and casual. The food is very good. We started with fried tofu as an appetizer, which my wife loved and I enjoyed as well (I’m not really a tofu guy so that says something). I had Khao soi (aromatic coconut curry, yellow noodles, grilled boneless chicken thigh) while my wife had gaeng hang lay (Northern Thai and Burmese inspired pork belly curry, ginger, onions, cherry tomatoes). Both were delicious.“
“Restaurant is very clean and well organized. The soup was spicy but it was perfect for the cold weather. The Pad Thai was excellent with fresh bean sprouts. The vegetable dish with tofu was pretty as well as delicious.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegetarian options available“
“I eat here about 3 times a week since its right by work. definitely check out their chefs specials. drunken noodle, pad see ew and basil fried rice is always my rotation on their lunch special! the staff are amazing and very helpful with the menu!“
“Baby!!!! Let me tell you!!! Don't walk run, skip, hop! This is a small Thai place with limited seating. I decided to dine in. The owner's daughter I believe is very attentive and sweet. I order the hot chill wings and pad Thai. The wings, made me dance in my seat! Don't be a fool they are hot, but with a little sweet chili sauce you would be fine. The pad Thai was good too, but be aware if you ate anything Thai chili hot you not going to taste anything afterward. I am really glad I found this place!!! I really love that it's family owned!!!“
“Nice new family-run Thai restaurant in NOVA. We have dined-in here once. And had home delivery once. First two experiences were solid. Great service. And food has been good. The menu may be a bit more limited than other Thai area restaurants - but maybe they will add items in the future. We would love for them to add whole fried fish and fish filet. They have a great feature on their delivery menu, where you can choose the number level of spice you want!“
“This restaurant is the BEST Thai restaurant in all of Fairfax. And I have had tried almost every Thai restaurant in the area. Their pad Thai is perfection, and their sushi is so beautiful it almost pains me to eat it because it's so beautiful but it's DELICIOUS. They also have great customer service and had our order ready quick and efficiently.“
“Best Thai food I’ve eaten. The vegetables are very fresh & deliciously prepared. Our server was very attentive & cordial. Large dining area & outside court available.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian dishes to choose from.Parking: Parking can be tricky as there is no lot“
“Stopped in for Sunday lunch after being out and about for the day. We were seated right away. No reservation needed. The service was very good, no issues. The food was excellent and as there were 4 of us got to try a few items from the menu. Each were delicious and would recommend all. The cocktails were good and the beer selection is on par with asian restaurants. In regard to the service my wife accidentally spilled a full cocktail and the staff made her a new one a no charge. Overall will come back and dine again. Highly Recommended. The only downside is parking in the area.“
“Duangrats is first in class in every category. We are loyal costumers as they are consistently outstanding in food and customer service.Vegetarian options: Those without meat protein.Dietary restrictions: They have plenty of vegetarian options.Parking: Lots of parking on site.Kid-friendliness: Have taken our children and grandchildren fir a birthday party. When I brought a cake they took it from me and served it to 17 of us. Very impressed with their service and genuine kindness.Wheelchair accessibility: Always park right in front and have easy access.“
“The chicken Khao Soi was delicious and easily the star of their menu. Staff were super understanding of my family being in a rush and made sure to get us everything we needed in a very timely manner. The restaurant itself is cute and a very cozy spot for lunch in dupont.“
“My boyfriend and I had a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner. It was so good we’ve now made it an annual tradition. The atmosphere of the restaurant, along with the food was excellent. Very professional staff, great food, incredible restaurant. What more can I say? We will definitely be back again. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a great experience.“
“Just tried this new Thai restaurant and omg it was DELISH! We broke from our usual pattern of Thai dishes (pad thai and pad see ew) and tried the 100 Islands Seafood and full Branzino. Absolutely yummy and savory. We also had the meatballs and corn fritters as apps and the fried ice cream. We are stuffed and everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Definitely recommend this place! They have a big menu that offers the usual fare plus dishes familiar to the Thai town of Donsak (where the owner is from). Also such a cute little spot with great drinks! Five stars for sure!“
“I always enjoy going to Elephant Jumps Thai restaurant for their food. I usto work across the street back in the days and found out about this restaurant. I have tried a different meal every time I have ordered from here and have never been disappointed. I have moved to Woodbridge and I still make the drive when I want to get some Thai food.“
“Quaint little restaurant with great food and vee friendly staff. The (owner?) was extremely kind and explained many menu options both before, and after the meal for my next visit.I git the Tom yum soup which had a phenomenal broth! Will definitely be back to try their other dishes.“
“Second time here with my husband and I absolutely love this place. Their food is amazing. Love their asian rolls and curry Puff appetizers. Definitely recommend. Love the spiciness of their dishes and the levels of spiciness they offer. Their Thai tea is so full of flavor and so delicious. If you have not visited this place, you should. It won't disappoint. Great service. Friendly staff. The mango sticky rice dessert is out of this world. So delicious!!!“
“I’ve been eating at this Thai restaurant since I was a little girl and it still does not disappoint. I am usually not a fan of duck, but they have figured it out and it was magical! So happy to see them still doing well. The Tom Yum soup is also perfection. The atmosphere has always been a bit strange inside, tables are close together and it’s hard to have a private conversation. I saw LOTS of to go orders though.“
“I've dined here for quite some time since its opening, and I love it! It is an excellent restaurant for those who want to try local food from Southeast Asian countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, etc., without flying out to travel. I am happy it's in the neighborhood, and I don't have to drive far when I crave.Parking: There is a free retail parking near Giant supermarket.“
“Undoubtedly, this is the best Thai restaurant in the DMV. They consistently serve the most authentic Thai dishes with exceptional taste and flavors. I have no complaints and highly recommend this place to everyone!Food: Endless menu items and delicious. They offer familiar Thai dishes like Pad Thai and papaya salad and unfamiliar Thai dishes that other places don't have. What I like most about their food is that they use authentic spices and recipes that are close to the original taste.Ambiance: Cozy and warm. The place is decorated with nostalgic Thai elements from childhood snacks, etc.Service: Top-notch professional waitresses that go above and beyond.“
“This restaurant is an amazing local, family-run spot! The food is fresh, delicious, and the presentation is superb. The staff is friendly and their attention to detail is impressive. I have eaten here many times and can honestly say that every meal has been wonderful. My favorites are green curry noodle, tempura and my kids love the friend rice. Try it ... you will not be disappointed!“
“I recently discovered a hidden gem of a Thai restaurant in Arlington, Virginia, and it exceeded my expectations. Intrigued by the chef’s recommendation, I tried the Kuay Teaw Koow Gai, a delightful noodle dish. The flavors were exceptional, and if you’re seeking authentic Thai cuisine, I highly recommend this place for a delicious culinary experience.“
“Solo eats ?My third time to this establishment. Cozy atmosphere, but the high school service still need a little more training. Had to ask for appetizers plates and serving spoons (example). Overall, the food is excellent and not overly a bad night. Also, the owner stepped in and was helpful.Menu items ?️Spicy cauliflower bitesSingapore Noodles with chickenGarlic chicken with vegetables and rice“
“We've gotten delivery from this restaurant a number of times and it's always delicious. The mushroom forest and crispy chive cakes are particular favorites, but we've also had the pad see ew, panang curry, khao soi, and herbal falls and they were great as well. I'm so happy to find a place with khao soi - had it in Chiang Mai and it's hard to find in Thai restaurants around here.“
“I came here with a colleague/friend and his wife for dinner. Overall, I enjoyed it.The food, service, and atmosphere are good. The fried pork belly dish that I had was excellent. The location in Occoquan's historic district can't be beat. The buildings are quaint, the river is right there, and there's a park, walking paths, and a foot bridge to cross the river.I have to give a lot of props to the young lady who was serving the entire dining room. It was just her, and she did an excellent job serving the tables and handling takeout orders by herself. At around 6 PM when I got there, the restaurant was empty. Shortly after I arrived, four or five parties of people came in, and she handled everything well. She also did a great job handling a very rude, condescening woman who kept asking her dumb questions about the menu and wasting her time.I would definitely return to Bann Thai Old Town for another dining experience or a takeout order.Parking: There are parking spaces available along the street. There's a large parking lot located about a half a mile away.“
“I enjoyed my dinner at Bangkok St. Thai Restaurant. This was my first time dining here, and I came in for dinner on a weeknight around 7PM. There were a couple of tables still available, but there was only one person staffed to wait on all the seated customers and attend the cash register for carryout orders. There wasn't a hostess stand, and also no sign letting customers know to seat themselves. We finally went to the cashier, who told us we could sit anywhere. I saw quite a few groups come in and awkwardly stand by the door wondering what to do, so I think a sign would have been helpful.I ordered the Thai Beef Jerky, Pad Thai with Chicken and a Thai Iced Tea. Everything was good. It's definitely not the best Thai Food in the area, but I would definitely order the beef jerky and Thai Iced Tea again. Also, the portions are pretty huge. My order of Pad Thai was enormous! I think it's almost triple what I normally get at other restaurants.Parking: Plenty of parking around dinner time on a weeknight.“
“We went for dinner, before we have been at different times and we were always treated with respect, however we did not know that the policies in the restaurant had changed that it is only for people who speak English, whoever speaks another language is treated in a rude manner and with some mockery, you should also not wear sports clothing, very bad experience“
“My family and I come here at least twice a month and would be here weekly if we lived closer. They have the best sushi in NOVA. We’ve tried several places and this is the only place that comes close to sushi we’ve had on the west coast. Their fish is always fresh and they season their rice to perfection. They have lots of tasty looking dishes on their menu but the sushi is so good we have yet to try anything else.“
“This is my favorite Thai place in Falls Church. They have great food and great service. They even have reusable plastic plates for the little ones :)Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and reusable plastic plates and silverware for kids“
“Best Thai restaurant in Falls Church by far. The food is always warm and prepared deliciously. When dining in, the atmosphere is very welcoming and the hosts are very attentive and kind. Never had any issues with ordering online either. I recommend this place to anyone who wants amazing Thai food in NoVA.“
“I absolutely love this new Thai place at Harrison Street! I got takeout recently and ordered a handful of items new to me--I particularly enjoyed the "Ped Grob Pad Gra Pow" (or crispy honey duck with basil). I also got some of the classics including Pad Thai which were great. When I arrived for pickup, I was the only one there but a few others arrived also to pickup. It appeared to be a husband-wife-duo running the establishment and they both came out to say hi and were extremely friendly and helpful. I only had to wait a few minutes for a very large order. I will most definitely be going back!“
“Holy wow this place is amazing. It is unassuming, but the service is fantastic and everything tastes out of this world. I loved my Thai Iced Tea, and I highly recommend the crispy duck and the duck curry - easily one of the best duck dishes I've had in my life. 10/10!“
“I've been eating here for years. One of the best Thai food I've ever had. It tastes just like the food I ordered in Thailand. I really like the strong red chili flavors in the dishes, such as the nua nam tok and drunken noodle, which are really succulent. Food does take time, but it is worth the wait. Other entree recommendations are the pad kra pow, crabmeat fried rice, and the crispy duck with the basil.“
“Their beef panang curry is the most similar to what I've had in Bangkok. Very tasty, fresh and the green beans actualy work in the dish. I can't wait to try their other curries! We ordered takeout via the phone and they were very attentive and nice!“
“It was a unique experience to try Northern Thai food. You can taste the difference from Thai food served in Bangkok, or in Thailand’s s southern regions. I got the larb, and it was really spicy and refreshing. Same with the Tom Ka Gai, which had a good amount of acidity. Servers were pretty nice, and food came out quickly. Would definitely recommend.“
“I've been a loyal patron of Rice & Spice Thai Cuisine for three wonderful years, and the experience has been consistently fantastic. The food is simply amazing, especially the red curry and drunkin noodles – an absolute delight for the taste buds. The service is friendly, the staff is amazing, and the cleanliness adds to the overall great dining experience. Highly recommend this gem for those who appreciate top-notch Thai cuisine!“
“Their sushi is very good, I have already eaten there several times and have also ordered takeout. The quality of the ingredients are good and fresh. Compared to other places, its price seems more than good to me for its quality.Once I ordered rice that came with shrimp and it was also very good. It's a nice atmosphere and the service is good.Only once did a girl who served us seem to forget our table and we had to be careful to call her to come to us, but otherwise they have good service.“
“The food is really good, and the service is friendly and fast, but the decor/ambience feel a bit dated, or cheaper than average. From the tabletops to the plates and silverware , most things around you feel on the cheaper side, which is a shame, especially when the food is that good.“
“I always order it from here when I'm working at the national harbor. The takeout is usually very good but it definitely can't beat eating it in the restaurant. Portions are super reasonable for the price given the area and there's a lot of choices. It's a little bit more upscale with fancy matching plates etc., and the decor is very nice. They have a lot of plants which I really liked. They have a bar area and serve alcohol as well. There's a tiny little parking lot that's reserved for customers in that area so it shouldn't be too difficult to find parking since there's also street parking in a parking garage.Vegetarian options: Clearly labeled and with most other Thai places you can get completely vegetarian easily.“
“I love this place! I was not fond of Thai food until I ate there. The food is great. Their soup is so good! I can eat it all day! Their egg rolls are great. They sure made regular out of me. I tell everyone about that place. They give you plenty of food for your money!“
“This is one of my go to places for pad thai. I forgot to take a picture because my boyfriend and I ate it so fast! The sushi is okay, more like a 3.5/5 but I do enjoy the sashimi and the rolls that they give. They recently painted the inside again to be a bright yellow ceiling with pictures along the wall which is really nice to look at while eating. The service is always so good and it's a small business that I love supporting!“
“Our favorite Thai restaurant for dine-in and takeout for almost a decade now. Best pad thai and duck curry in Northern Virginia. Also like the papaya salad, drunken noodles, pineapple fried rice, and fried eggplant. Family-friendly place in the neighborhood without the hipness of a D.C. restaurant. Tables and booths under birdcage-looking light fixtures. Good prices and friendly service. Across the street from Giant. Easy parking spaces in front and on the side.Vegetarian options: Almost every dish can be made without meat.Parking: There are always parking spaces in front of along the side.“
“Great local Thai restaurant! We had pork belly and Pad See Ew, both of which are recommended. And the service was excellent! Our only recommendation would be to make reservations if you are planning to visit during peak hours. But we will certainly be returning!“
